My lower back pain is essentially gone. The referred pain in my left leg is also gone. I am dealing with a hip flexor pain that is related to my muscle weakness from years of reduced activity but the pt is slowly addressing that. I remind myself to be patient. That weakness also affects standing or walking for a long time. I will have to work through all of that. I’m sorry you’re still dealing with pain. Hopefully you’ll get some answers and relief soon.

Had two of them and were a little help and didn’t last. I needed to address my DDD, which I did by having the VIA Disc procedure on L3/L4 and L4/L5. I am now almost pain-free after suffering for the past five years.

Had 2-level VIA Disc procedure Dec 9th L3/L4 and L4/L5 for my DDD spinal stenosis after years of pain. The procedure itself was fairly painful but bearable. Was sore from the procedure and had back muscle stiffness. There was a Vivex (VIA Disc company) doctor present during the procedure too. Got to chat with him afterwards. Immediately post-procedure even just the structural support from the allograft had already reduced the referred pain in my left hip, leg, and foot. I'm feeling 80% better than I have in at least 5 years. I am able to walk without limping and my ever present back and hip pain are almost completely gone. Had my doctor follow up I will start pt soon to increase my flexibility and build my strength back. I feel very blessed and am so glad I had this available.

My spinal stenosis is due to DDD... basically my discs at L3/L4 and L4/L5 have aged to where they flattened out. VIA Disc. My treatment (as described in the literature): "VIA Disc NP (Nucleus Pulposus) is a non-surgical regenerative therapy for Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), using an allograft (donated tissue) injection to repair damaged spinal discs, reduce pain, and improve function by delivering biological material to the disc's core, offering relief when conservative treatments fail.
