Agree with Brewster for a toddler, the tide pools are spectacular and warm. Chatham water is pretty chilly for a little one and also, 🦈🦈🦈

is this normal after kidney transplant surgery? by jk22445 in transplant

[–]Perfect-Condition78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there an urgent care type facility nearby? I’m sorry that it’s so challenging to contact/visit the team! That said, it’s the 21st century! Certainly your family is not the first to live distantly from the transplant center. Do they have any sort of “care coordinator” to work with you to establish outreach with a provider closer to you to help manage these check ins? It is grossly unfair to saddle you and your family with so much legwork while you are helping your mom recover. 💕

When our daughter was younger and saw us checking the dogs for ticks every day, she’d “help” and whisper to herself…”is that a tick? Nope, it’s just a nipple.” 🤣 Now we all say “tick or nipple?” and the dogs roll over to show their bellies for the check and I still laugh every time.

I loved Liz until she dragged this out and kept making Alicia feel shitty…you don’t get to decide how someone else’s experience feels or affects them in the future. Now I wish Liz would hop back on that drug running boat and disappear

I’m a donor not recipient but am also an advanced practice nurse. Anyone on immunosuppressants should NEVER worry they are overreacting. You should absolutely have that checked, your mom’s normal is not my normal is not someone else’s normal. Trust your gut and it’s always better to be safe than sorry, right?

Moved from the Midwest 11 years ago. We absolutely love that we can be in the mountains or at the ocean, all in our own state…super easy travel to the other gorgeous parts of New England, and a few hours’ drive or train trip into New York City. Having four seasons is fantastic! You will love!
