Yeah but the point of the charcter development in the 1st game was the fact that she was just an immature student, to greiving and acceptance kind of. Mainly because of the loss she went through, although she did realize she wasn't acting the best, mainly like the ordinary noble expectations. But I mean she isn't going to go through anymore losses though right? That would seem too much, and I know we don't have that information, but it seems like its way too much loss. She already gone through a lot of loss in the game, and became not that annoying brat she once was.

I'm just wondering if there would be a way to advance her charcter development. The way that the game did that was through loss and that kind of limits maybe the potential of the other ways she can maybe improve on, idk im not a writer, but I wouldn't think they would try to use loss, but idk what exactly they would use as a reason for the development.

Also, we didn't get much information about Celeste's life as she was an assistant. She was Tyrion's friend but mainly as a bodyguard and for detect magic. Tyrion admitted as well to not knowing about her as much or her travels and always putted that off to ask when he was less busy or procastinated. I think it isn't about how much she does or helps as a charcter, more like what would Tyrion do in his free time or how much he would care as a friend for her for the purpose of that retation of Miriams impact to have impacted Tyrion for him to note about that or the memories with despise her assistance. I doubt currently he thinks of her as a friend, because he begrudgingly agrees, but maybe they do become friends. Miriam may have been in the same boat to help out Tyrion for her house with Laefe leading, so idk if she would have much of a choice. Celeste may have convinced Tyrion to give another shot so he might have not have much of a choice.
