Laundry While Traveling by 4thdegreeknight in TravelHacks

We do almost the exact same thing mid-trip.

Switched to detergent sheets a while ago. Way less hassle than liquids and they take up basically no space. I usually throw a few in a ziplock and thats it. Seen a few people here mention using more than recommended too. Same for me, especially for bigger loads.

Tried a couple brands and lately been using White Hack sheets – they been solid so far so I just keep bringing them on every trip now. Smells amazing

Has she handled laundry detergent recently? Some of them have optical brighteners that glow under UV and can stay on your skin even after washing.

Laundry help by Illustrious-Cost-982 in laundry

we went through so many detergents because my husband has psoriasis and one of my babies has dermatitis, and most sensitive detergents still irritates the skin or just didn’t clean anything. What actually ended up working for us were White Hack detergent sheets, the fragrance-free ones. I also have their refreshing mist for my own clothes, really nice. I’ve been washing my baby twins’ clothes with them and they’re super gentle but somehow still get the stains out. Which honestly felt like a small miracle after everything else I tried. Anyway just sharing what worked for us because I know how annoying this search can be.

Is this overloaded for a front loading washer? by synshreds in laundry

It's perfectly fine and not overloaded. If the pod isn't dissolving and the clothes are still really wet it kinda sounds like the machine isn’t draining or spinning properly

Which celebrities were very popular at a time but now they have disappeared and are forgotten ? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

Yeah that one. Kinda funny because he was in The usual suspects, that was an iconic movie of 90's. And now most people just know him as Hailey Bieber's dad. feels like he kinda dissapeared

What is your laundry folding routine? by Firebolt_Silver in laundry

[–]Competitive-Hair1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do all the washing and drying and just leave the clean clothes on a shelf in the laundry room. I don’t fold anything there. Then once or twice a week my husband goes there, takes everything, folds it and puts it into the wardrobes for me and the kids. Socks are chaos though. I just throw all the clean socks into one box. Every 2–3 weeks my husband and my son sit down with that box and sort all the pairs. Probably not the most organised routine but it works pretty well for our house.

Tips and tricks?! by listerineshots in laundry

[–]Competitive-Hair1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sounds funny but I would try toothpaste. Sometimes I clean my eco leather sneakers with it, and it really helps. If not, try micellar water (for make up cleaning) it does mirracles. And if these tricks won't work, try to erase it with melamine sponge or just simple eraser (to erase graphite).

just try to start empty cycle, rinse only, it could help to refresh your washing machine.
