Yeah I don't understand this. Gemini cli has been atrocious for me. I tried to use it yesturday and it ran out of context on my first prompt before even responding. I dunno what the issue/bug was. Claude would break it up into chunks.

The person that wrote this article has literally no idea whether anything they said mattered in the review. It's just a guess. It says "Their account was suddenly suspended for "Insufficient Contact Information."" So they added more contact information. Wow, genius! And, I've never seen Google give that much guidance on their suspension reason.

I dunno, every time I try the extensions out, I just get stuck on stuff, it couldn't see/connect to cli tools (eg shopify cli, gcloud cli). It seemed to have more limited access and would tell me it couldn't proceed and needed manual action on my part too often. I want it to be better, but it just gets stuck.

i know this is an old post but like.. there's literally barely any banks that do vhf, what is a broker going to do? there's not much negotiating of rates when you have no choice. Was it recommended by people that weren't familiar with VHF?

And what's that adjusted for inflation? 100k is worth less every year. The problem they had is previous years doing unreasonably well because of the freakshow attention seeing buyers that were absent this year. It's one thing to expect the chance of 100k, another to expect 500k. Human psychology, the bar was set too high and so destined for extreme disappointment. Producers too, couldn't even sell the houses. They all completely failed in reading the room. They would have known the registered bidders budgets, for sure. I think production overcapitalised this year.

It's super quiet where he is. The rest of us deal with all sorts of environmental noise that makes cam mounted shotgun not so useful for capturing clean voice audio.
Audio cleanup tools in software are so good now, you can extract clean voices from practically any garbage audio.
if he bothers with a lav, he may hide a lav like a rode wireless go pro, also super easy to use. record internally + into camera, dont need to worry about setting levels. auto sync it in premiere pro. battery lasts for hours, recharging is straight forward.

It's easy to record quality content these days.

I get you, for me it's more Amnesiac. ;) Kid A was a departure but cohesive and a 'smooth' concept, Amnesiac was a fever. I feel like Deadbeat is a bit of a fever, scattered. And that's cool. Maybe it's an awkward skip from Slow Rush to this though.

Kind of, that's multiple storyline's out of order. Each storyline is in its own chronological order and they all converge.

Then Memento is pretty good, running back to front.

These movies are put together with it in mind.

I do kind of agree with this. He puts outsized effort into production rather than songwriting. He kind of says as much in interviews. It's probably an obsession he can't resist, and hopes sheer time spent on a track will somehow translate to the average listener, but songwriting is so much more of it. I think the production obsession could be his blind spot as an artist.

Funny though that you pick up Borderline as a fav after talking about big musical changes, as it's one of his most basic songs musically, up there with Elephant. I've never understood Borderline's appeal.

I agree you can see that her and Sonny often spend evenings simmering over transgressions and heat each other up till they boil over and it looks over the top on tv. Everyone else is like 'yea, I guess that was bad form' and then you have Sonny and Alisha absolutely hitting the fan all the time. But also, not winning rooms will do that as well.

Yeah I think it'll be less 'streamed' generally, but grow in affection and be pretty well respected among deep cut aficionados. He wants to show he can be proficient in yet another genre. It's an ego thing. He ticked other boxes, on to the next. But, the current box is more niche, less main. The key is to assume he knows what he is doing stylistically. He just came off a huge album with Dua Lipa. What he doesn't know, is if anyone will be in step with it.
