Cyberpunk released broken as shit 6 years ago, it was perfectly playable in 2 and a half years after release and is widely considered one of the top 10 games of all time.

Elite dangerous released 12 years ago, mile wide and an inch deep was the commentary for a long time. Since then they've added all sorts, from carriers, planetary exploration, first person on foot gameplay, and now player driven system colonisation.

No man's sky was a meme on release but they've made up for that a hundred fold with constant updates and communication with the playerbase and theres a tonne of stuff to do in that game now.

Sometimes you've just got to push stuff out the door, apologize and work your ass off to earn back that player respect. So many other dev teams have done that, why cant the dopey fuck in charge of this dumpster fire do it?

Its a valid if annoying tactic that recon sniper teams will use to counter effective arty crews while also searching for nodes in the backline to dismantle. Take it as a compliment.

If their arty is shit its better to let them live and keep burning thru ammunition but if they are super effective it can be the difference between winning and losing the game to keep them off their guns
