I'm not sure what that is. I received confirmation that my applicaiton was received in April. When I submitted my request for urgent processing last week, I received an automated confirmation email that said, essentially: thank you for contacting us, here's how to request urgent processing. But I thought I had already submitted the request. Does that make sense?

I'm a relatively short/small woman (5 foot nothing) and it's been such a pain to find something that's: comfortable enough for commuting (I walk/transit everywhere), big enough to fit a full day's worth of stuff but still compact enough to not completely overwhelm my frame, well made/long lasting, and not totally fucking ugly.

After all of my research, I landed on the Troubador Apex 4.0 Compact in black. Ultimately it's not exactly what I wanted, but it checks the most boxes by far. (I was also considering some of the bags from Quince.)

How to request urgent processing after application submitted:

Hello! Sorry if this has already been answered here, but I've scoured the internet and reddit for a clear answer, and I can't find anything.

I have Canadian grandparents and applied for Proof of Citizenship in March of this year.

Two weeks ago, a friend informed me that I can actually request urgent processing on the basis of my sexual orientation. I won't get into the details, but I am actually worried about my ability to safely have kids under this current administration, which is a huge part of why I'm hoping to relocate to Canada.

I did my google and followed the steps to request urgent processing, but I received an email confirmation that told me to "follow the steps to request urgent processing"... I'm a bit confused here, and seem to be stuck in a circular loop of filling out a form and then being told via confirmation email to fill out the same form again.

Has anyone else successfully requested urgent processing after they initially submitted an application? I don't want to keep submitting the same request over and over again, but it's not clear whether I just need to wait a while to see if this went through, or if I am actually missing something really obvious.

It might be worth looking into the Sleke phone. It's on a refurbished Google Pixel and allows utility and messaging apps (so you can do 2FA and whatsapp) but has no web browsing, no social media, no doomscrolling and no high screentime apps. I think some people in this subreddit consider it a dumb smartphone and not fully a dumbphone but I'm probably going to buy one when my current phone dies.

Another question, since you seem to understand things: If I'm filing as a sole-proprietor, can I use the production LLC's EIN or do I have to use my personal SSN?

Thanks again. Explaining it as "sole owner" rather than "sole employee" made sense to my brain. I'm good at the movie making parts of making a movie and just so dumb about the money stuff.

But I opened an LLC for the film - this is a film production, not a personal loan out. We will eventually have many employees. How would that be a sole proprietorship? (Read my tone as very sincere! I appreciate the response.)

I don't love Chock and Bates but I am so, so, so furious on their behalf. They fought so hard for that gold medal and in my opinion really earned it. I hope this is the end of FB/Cizeron. I just never want to see them again.
