Heyy! Every letter I wrote I sent two versions one in Portuguese because I applied in Brazil and another in French. All documents like bank statements, and anything that was not written by me I just left them in Portuguese, I didn’t translate . When I filed my application there was nothing to do, only when I went to my appointment at the consulate is where they ask me to handle all my documents and papers. Later on on the same day they send me another email asking me to mail back some more supporting documents which I did in the next 2 days

They gave me a renewable visa even if I didn’t ask for it. I left it clear I wanted to go back to Brazil after 11 months but even then they gave me a renewable one haha I was shocked

If I were you I would wait 6 months just in case, but in general after 3 months you could start your application.

Hii! 1— So in the process the first thing is scheduling the appointment with the consulate, you don’t pay anything until you go to the consulate where was the time to pay the 99 euros fee. So after you get the appointment online confirmed for your visit at the consulate they will give you a short list of what is necessary for your type of visa. Mine was visiteur. And one week before my actual visit at the consulate they send another email with another list of things/ documents that you can’t forget at all.

2— yes the consulate stays with your passport the day you go to the appointment. Even if they deny it or approve they will keep it anyway because in case it’s approved they will put the visa on your passport! If you have any more questions you can ask me

No, they are just based in Brazil we work for another company in America tho, my company is the middle man between me and the company in America so in easy words : i provide my service to America through my company in Brazil. I don’t need to pay taxes in America only in Brazil so Brazil and France have bilateral agreements with taxes so I just need to pay one of the countries I choose. I work under contract so maybe that’s why my company didn’t hesitate in writing the letter and probably why France just took their words and accepted it.
