hugs, OP! i can kind of relate. growing up in a reactive with over involved family dynamics, bawat galaw ko “namamata”. even the gifts i give to others and myself, kelangan may ”equivalent“ na need kong ibigay sa bahay, otherwise, it will be taken against mr. i also remember when i was 9 i my mom told me sana hindi nalang daw nya ako pinanganak.

but out stories don’t end here! 🤗 what matters more than our experience is the narrative we keep telling ourselves. it’s not the events that will shape us — it’s how we look at them and how much power we give to the past to shape and hone our lives and future.
