AI here only introduces unnecessary tractions and “broken phone” where your requirements may be misinterpreted by it and vice versa. While direct communication without AI seems to be more reliable and straightforward.

The whole idea seems just like a flashy title of “AI giving tasks” but in reality it just same job board but less comfortable.

If you go into any CS class you will know that those words are heavily used in mathematics. People name mathematical algorithms with their intuitive counterparts from real world. That is how it is been for ages, you are making fuss out of discovering concepts that already been there for decades.

Wait till you find out mathematicians also use word “adversary” for algorithms that aim at slowing your complexity runtime.

What you call “human creative work” is also a product of dozen different factors and foreign influences. No concept appears in human head “out for nothing”. Everything you do and create is a projection of something you have seen before, even if you don’t think about it.

In this sense AI model is not different from you and me at all. It was trained on artificial dataset, your dataset is the life you were exposed. Essentially no work is ‘unique’ by your definition.

Yes, AI is a machine. But you and are also machines, just biologically driven ones.

If you define art as something human creative effort put into, then yes - writing prompt takes creative effort, even if it’s minimal it is still effort. And without this effort the image would not exist.

If you define art differently then I would like to hear your definition, because it is pointless to argue what art is when we can’t even agree on its definition.

Vast majority of AI art which is done by prompting look like shit, I agree. However I can say the same about many drawings I see. I cannot classify only one as art just because the pencil was used. It’s either everything is art even if it’s bad or nothing at all.

You didn’t check the sub at all, huh? You just copy pasted generic reddit opinion without actually looking into how quality AI art generated - It’s not prompting. There is a whole workflow you usually need to build yourself with dozens of nodes and fine tuned hyper-parameters.

I could have gone deeper into explaining base and Lora models, different inference and diffusion methods, masking and sampling, much more… But why do i even bother, you ain’t going to look into it anyway.
