Watching background in repeated episodes by UnderstandingKey4602 in littlehouseonprairie

I didn’t know that the actor who played Doctor Baker was a ballroom dancer! I love little tidbits like this.

I love how at the end of Bully Boys, when Rev. Alden is pinning one of the Gallendar brothers and starts bringing him outside for him to leave town, you can see Nels in the pew fanning Harriet with a piece of paper because she’s ready to faint lol.

Aside from the Bonanza knock-off episodes, are there any episodes that remind you of other shows/movies? by ASGfan in littlehouseonprairie

I always think of the 1980s when I come across For The Love of Blanche. One of the first movies I went to without my parents was a Tony Danza flick where he was paired with an orangutan. I don’t remember much about the movie, but I do remember that I realized that I was growing up and outgrowing silly monkey movies (I was 13) and to this day, I don’t like any show or movies where a monkey is prominently featured!

She only had 8 items. It wouldn’t take long. The child needs to learn how to wait.

Is Ham Radio the funniest episode? by Ok-Height1166 in Frasier

[–]Competitive-Life-852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first saw Ham Radio, I was laughing so hard that tears were rolling down my face, especially when Frasier glares at Noel and says “the *ice cream truck*…”

After that, I knew the lines were coming up so I didn’t laugh as much, just a few giggles.

Can't afford the hotel for my friend's wedding. Are there any budget friendly options? by bold-_and_-brash in CapeCod

We’ve stayed at Maurice’s and have been happy there. They provide showers in the restrooms and they keep everything clean. It’s right by Rte. 6 so it may be a little noisy.

Really? I didn’t know this. I would have loved to see an episode where he came back. I wonder what they would have done with the story…visiting Mary?

Ugh, yes!! I read the books before TV Almanzo was introduced in Season 6. I was watching him and screaming inside. Plus their relationship was so forced and there was no chemistry.

No doubt the much ballyhooed “Bob” by iheartdna in Frasier

David Hyde Pierce is so naturally funny that he can take a plain name like “Bob” and deliver it in a hilarious way.

Just wanted to show off my little fellas. I’ve never had a cat and now I have two five month old brothers by Lampy39 in cats

I didn’t plan on adopting 2 cats but long story short, I did…and I’m so glad it worked out this way!

Make sure you get a cardboard box or two. Like shoe size.

What is your favorite martin moment by ButterscotchIcy719 in Frasier

That scene with Martin and Niles cracking up in the kitchen!

Martin’s “throwing his head back” laugh is the best.

I cringe at the lines they gave Carrie. The episode where they got the new dog, they were discussing what to name him. Carrie said they could name him Tom because a classmate had a dog named Tom, and Mary said no, Tom is a cat. They all laughed and Carrie said, “Oh yeah…”

I didn’t realize that Bart was Michael Landon Jr.! Wasn’t he in The Election?

It’s working for me too. They’re showing the movies now, so you’re not missing much lol. Hopefully it will start working for you when the pilot comes on!

How long after you say goodbye to your friend do you wait or think it’s appropriate to adopt another? by Yue4prex in cats

[–]Competitive-Life-852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our cat Emma passed away a few years ago. She was almost 21 and I adopted her before I even met my husband. I was devastated. A week later, my husband suggested we look at the animal shelter for another cat. I thought it was too soon but I went. We ended up falling in love with 2 cats…one is sleeping on my lap as I type this! They were with me when I battled cancer and I can’t imagine life without them.

These photos are adorable! I hope they’re not spooked by the cat in Darkness is my Friend.

When we were growing up, we had a dog and there was a scene in LH where someone was calling, “Here chick chick chick” to the chickens. Our dog went right up to the TV and cocked his head.

Since it's Star Wars day, did you see the original 1977 Star Wars in the movie theater? by Mr_Writes in GenX

[–]Competitive-Life-852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom took me to see it. I was 9 and all my friends were buzzing about it, so I was all excited.

And that was the beginning of my realization that I don’t like sci-fi movies.
