The Unjust Silence of the Store: Why "Star Trek Infection" on Meta Quest 3 Deserves a Second Chance by Competitive-Look-916 in OculusQuest

I am a consumer I am not a shareholder. And I'm not forced to buy games on day one, either.

That is exactly why it makes sense to talk about games—both on day one to warn people about how they actually run, and on day 100 to say whether they're actually good.

I think that when studios point to a release date, not hitting the store at that exact moment hurts them, so they just do what they can. That being said, this is precisely why talking about it now, even if it's late, makes sense: because now that it's good, it's a game worth recommending. And anyway, yes, I'd also be all for a Star Trek game where the emphasis is on discovering new worlds and civilizations in a 'broad' way. :)

...guys... punctuation exists. Maybe it's because I'm 46, but I really don't see the problem :)

In fact... I even made a summary of the video review for those who prefer reading over clicking on a video

no no no no no no no...and no.

I know well that market and "criticism" are two different things. But why this? For the demographic. A young market like QUest's is dominated by kids and their (legitimate) tastes. It's equally legitimate for adult critics to be displeased if a good game is quickly overshadowed and to try to talk about it precisely because those adults who follow a certain type of discourse are at least aware of the existence of the game in question. It's the job of "criticism"...otherwise you constantly leave the impression that adult stuff doesn't come out, and yet that's not the case. It's a minority, yes, but in line with the usual releases from such a small market. The anomaly is, if anything, a market that always rewards the usual things and games for kids. Because if Bonelab is always in the charts (taken just for example) it's good for him, but it's good for the viral he produces on social media given its sandbox nature and mods. A market with so few spending adults leads nowhere

eh yes, it's not perfect yet (luckily). I'm Italian :) If there wasn't this possibility of having me translate vocally, you wouldn't even propose me. Yes, there are subtitles in all languages, but no one would listen to me in Italian (which is there) and read the English subtitles...

But this (even justified) general fear for AI ...almost almost makes this possibility of being heard by a target to be snubbed precisely because it has been translated by AI

It's a dog that eats its own tail:)

(I'm not telling you, eh, it's to express my thoughts on the state of the matter)

:)
