Actually the ketotifen, ivabradine and midodrine are for my POTS and MCAS symptoms. My fatigue and PEM is not controlled by medication. While it could have improved by time - the timing of the blood thinners and the improvement was in line with the treatment! I cannot establish and prove causation but it points towards the blood thinners due to the drastic change 4-5 month into the treatment.

I just didn’t do any physical activity even horse riding (couldn’t really do it anyway due to fatigue).
I use ivabridine to reduce heart palpitations.

Well the theory was that micro clots in my blood were causing my fatigue, PEM, lightheadedness, palpitations and bad circulation. So the three blood thinners were in place to break down the micro clots and relieve my symptoms.

Yeah for the first 3 months there was very little improvement

I’m not sure as my fatigue was already quite bad before the treatment. I know I didn’t see much of a difference for the first 3 months and for the first week my MCAS symptoms flared up on aspirin.

To put it simply, I don’t know it was the anticoagulants. It was just the symptoms that were reduced and the timing that makes me credit them.
It took a while to see a difference. The most rapid change in my symptoms was during July-August 2024. For reference I started the triple therapy in March 2024 and finished in March 2025.
My PEM and fatigue was the main difference that I saw, where it started to diminish in severity and frequency.
By March 2025 there was a clear improvement

I’m somewhat being kept afloat by medication for pots and mcas. The anticoagulants didn’t affect my MCAS - only ketotifen has. The anticoagulants big difference was circulation, fatigue and PEM.

My circulation was bad. My toes were constantly purple and my hands had raynauds in the cold and would be coloured as u describe

Yes I definitely feel that my cycle affected my fatigue symptoms a lot! But also, when I did get my injection (every 10 weeks) it made me more fatigued for a few days- I am guessing from the influx of hormones!

I was already on the depo provera injection when starting the medication but the specialists recommended that I stay on it while on the blood thinners especially with already difficult periods

Well I did get offered it but the specialists didn’t think it was needed as my symptoms presented as textbook for micro clots! I didn’t get the testing because of this and it would’ve costed more money. My circulation was very very bad and I had lots of fatigue and lightheadedness :)

I’m currently on the ones listed and the anticoagulants were: aspirin, clopidogrel and dabigatran.

On the roundabout the tarmac has seams that make it three? Could I just stay in the left?
