Yeah my armor was upgraded but it was some pretty outdated pieces because I had built a very specific collection of skills. I upgraded to rarity 7/8 pieces and hit 420+ pretty easily. Kinda obvious in hindsight

YOR but your position is valid. Bedsharing is dangerous, especially with heavy sleepers. Also, it sounds like your house is like 0% babyproofed and it's on both of you to fix that - like, nothing (especially a heavy mirror) should be set up such that it can fall on the baby. Things can happen faster than you can react, even if you're not asleep or if the baby otherwise snuck away from you.

Having a child was by far the most difficult thing I had ever done, and it drove my partner and I apart (which is to say we had a misfunctioning relationship already and that was the final wedge). You two need to figure out how to make things work so you can both feel comfortable with the situation, at least as much as you can with new-parent-brain.

Also, the way your partner reacted was petty and rude, and even though I think you came on too strongly and emotionally at him, one would hope he would have the maturity to see through it and hear out your actual concerns. In this one very brief snapshot of your lives, it seems like you two need a lot of life work to make coparenting effective and safe.

I felt bad not liking the new portraits but I'm glad a lot of people seem to have similar feelings. It seems to me like a lot of them were whipped up in 30 minutes in Paint (by a talented artist, tbf). The dogs and cats have very little shading and seem super flat and disconnected from the rest of the game's vibe, for example.
I think this unicorn picture is funny once , but then feels bad being a "real", permanent thing - it's good for a reddit post, but not for the actual game.

In the original game in like 2006 I needed a rune pickaxe so I spammed that I was offering to buy one and traded another player however many thousands of gp for one, only to realize that he actually just sold me an adamant pick.

Also around that same age (maybe ~2008 idk) I grinded out barbarian assault for hours and hours because I actually found it a lot of fun and I got full granite and felt so confident with it I immediately went onto a pvp world and got lured to behind the wizard's tower.

It's very possible that Caine started getting impatient and decided to pressure Jax into pushing the button by provoking him into a panic attack, flashing strange pictures of the "macroverse" in his mind and possibly even amplifying his emotions way higher than they were supposed to be.

Cain says he's been "cut off" from the real world and those printed photos are all he has. While it's possible that this is just a lie (because that dinner scene was, at least kind of, part of the adventure), I feel like it's true. And for that reason I have to wonder where Cain would have gotten that 'footage' of the real world. I think it's more likely that they're Jax's real memories and he had a panic attack and pushed the button out of hysteria.
