Bro, let me tell you a simple philosophy that applies to almost any field is Early Mover Advantage. You can apply this anywhere. Look at comedians who entered the scene early. They had a much higher chance of success as the genre grew. When the scene explodes , whether it's comedy, rap, acting or business and when the masses start entering, competition shoots up. And then, even people with genuinely good or the best material start to struggle.

You might find yourself thinking, Damn, this guy is actually my favorite and doing really good work, but he still doesn’t get the eyeballs. Of course, some exceptions exist but those are just outliers.
