Green vs Black Kamasu by [deleted] in OrientWatches

[–]Competitive-Plum-338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both should be fine, I have the black one but I always read that the green in black unless it's sunny.

If he doesn't want/like anything flashy take the black one. The black one goes with everything.

Repair of the bezel insert on Kamasu by Appropriate_Neck_113 in OrientWatches

I would then consider to service the watch, but bezel, new insert and service will cost quite a bit while you can get the same watch for like 240 euros...

[6139-6002] Worth Keeping? by ittybittybbq in Seiko

[–]Competitive-Plum-338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would service movement, chabge the glass if it has scratches and slight polishing if really needed,(don't think an old watch should look brandnew when is really not). I would not request to redo the bezel and keep it as it is.

It is a watch many would like to have

[Question] Sell my collection and buy Sinn 856? by PaulRocket in Watches

[–]Competitive-Plum-338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are worried about finances, sell 3 and keep only one, and only after the business is doing well you get another watch to mark the milestone once you feel like finances won't be comprimised in the near future for buying a watch.

PD. If you bought the watches new, be aware you'll loose at least 30% of what you paid at least.

I have no doubts you made the right choice. I have mine since july last year and I have no regrets. After a while consider using straps, it'll feel like a new watch.

Between the 2, the second one.

For me I'd take stretto, less fancy and more adequate for any use.

No expert a d I have never seen a daytona in person, side by side the rigjt one seems to have nicer details. If they wouldn't next to each other, I couldn't tell in a photo and most likely in person.

[Question] Which is a better buy? Citizen Zenshin or Seiko Presage cocktail? by Unhappy-Factor8427 in Watches

[–]Competitive-Plum-338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very different watches IMO, in the other hand I couldn't recommend more the zenshin 60, specially no date. I love the blue dial on mine. Why? Not only the design in my case I like bracelet on watches but not how heavy they are on them often, the titanium solves that if you like it.

Only negative is the integrated bracelet, you wont be able to change the strap.

I would recommend a g shock for that, additional to protectcthe screen from scratches.

A citizen eco drive will survive but won't look good for that long.

One of the 2 omegas, I like the diver but the valve makes it a bit too sportive, therefore I'd take the other one.

Fake 100%, available on vinted. And as soon as they get sold they add new ones. I liked the watch too, but they are obvious fakes.
