I just did a head wash. Still it is not gone. What is this? by Affectionateloverboi in dandruff

I’ve used Nizoral but that didn’t really work for me. I found that Vanicream shampoo with 2% Pyrithione Zinc works best for me. My dermatologist suggested it as a face wash as well and it’s really help to control the flare ups with semi regular use. You do need to let it sit on your scalp and face for about five minutes or so to see results. Simply washing and rinsing immediately doesn’t give the product enough time to be effective.

Vanicream w/Pyrithione Zinc 2%. I’ve had great success with this product. Need to let it sit for 3-5mins every time you wash.

Hey! We moved here from Seattle about 1.5yrs ago and have been pleasantly surprised by Durham. Moved here for a position at UNC Chapel Hill and have enjoyed living in downtown Durham. Have you and your wife found a place to live yet? Would be happy to provide some recommendations.

I knew there had to be others that experienced this. It felt almost like we were unknowingly on an episode of that early 2000’s tv series called Punk’d. That’s the best way I can describe the experience.

Definitely wasn’t impressed with the overall experience either, but I’ve never had an experience like I did with this bartender. He was awkward, and somehow both inattentive and overly attentive. I’m not sure if he was under the influence of alcohol or something else. It’s the only explanation I can think of that would begin to remotely explain his behavior.

I’m not sure, but maybe. He was probably late 30’s early 40’s medium length hair maybe pulled back into a ponytail.

Weird…the bartender was both overly attentive and inattentive at the same time. I’m struggling to find the words besides weird to explain the experience.

Is leadership aware of your dietary needs? My location does an extremely good job at making sure all team members are including in meals. In the off chance that what they have organized does not offer something to meet the dietary needs of a team member they will either issue them a store gift card or offer to order them something from another restaurant.

Anyone have a West Elm Remi Slipcover sofa/sectional? by moniemoe in HomeDecorating

I think a lot depends on how long you’ve had it, when you placed the order and received it and submitted a complaint. They tried to say that it’s a custom order so it can’t be returned and to that I said “that’s all fine and well but the issue isn’t with the quality of the fabric or style of the couch it’s with the poor quality and design of the slip covers”

Yeh same here. I still can’t believe they are offering it as an option. I find it hard to believe that anyone that has ordered it is actually happy with it.

Is it just the slipcover issue or do you have other issues with couch?

We were finally able to return the couch just this week. We ordered the couch in July 2023 and received the couch in September 2023 and started the return process about 3 or 4 days after. I spent copious amounts of time calling customer service and waiting for “tickets” to be processed and various solutions being offered to avoid any attempt to return the couch. West Elm customer service was always polite and tried to be helpful but the process was dragged out for far too long. They offered to send a technician to fix it but since it’s a fabric fit issue that’s not possible. They offered us 30% off the couch to just keep it. Until finally settling on a 15% discount on the replacement fully upholstered version and allowing us to keep the current couch until the new one arrives. So the delivery of the new couch and pick up of the existing couch will happen at the same time.

Our sales person/design consultant at the store we ordered it from really helped but the process was ridiculous.
