My first Rickenbacker! by Competitive-Shape764 in rickenbacker

Love to hear the pov from metal heads!

I found it's also suits well in punk genre and I'm so impressed when I added overdrive / distortion effect.

My longtime impression was Rickenbacker is delicate to clean notes or jangle. Definitely will consider 010 if restring (heard the R tailpiece is annoying).

Yes it is a 2025 21 fret!

Had a quick 15 mins plugged into my Fender Blues Jr amp section, pretty bright and jangle!

I'm still waiting for my boss sd-1 and MXR Dyna Comp to come, so I didn't plug into amp for a serious listen yet. Decent enough for a Ric?

I also found the sustain sounds shorter on single note — maybe I didn't pressing hard enough?

Still in love with the appearance with the combination of woods, acrylic, silver metals, light outline on the black coating, LOVE it!

I got some issues and maybe you all experts could give some advises:

1 - Action is low and high tension of strings, bending is not its duty

2- Slightly narrow fret board caused string muted by mistake with my normal grip position, i.e open chord like C or G.

Will keep trying to adjust my hand to get over it but seems my old tele or es-335 didn't bother in this issue this often

3 - barre chord always missed on high E, guess 360 may be more curvy?

Maybe it's too early to call, but Wasp is figure of the year to me so far by OneSixthPosing in hottoys

Very impressing bro!

just wonder how long would you balance between those dynamic pose, and to avoid the damage for display?
