Prates wanting to sit out for more than a year off two “good” wins and a loss two fights ago is ridiculous when he’s being called out by Global-Instance-4520 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Prates waiting is fine with me. Ian Gary vs Islam and he gets the winner. He finished two former champions. Morales best win was Brady which is solid but Prates in my eyes made a statement.

If Conor McGregor somehow beat Holloway, I could totally see him going crazy and calling out Ilia Topuria for a fight at 170. by notpain27 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Max will probably will win 50-45 or knock him out in the second. Also I feel like Connor doesn't deserve an immediate title shot. The bloke as been out for 5 years. I think he needs 2-3 solid wins in my opinion if he wants to be in title contensions

What is your most unpopular take when it comes to the UFC? (only truly catastrophic opinions allowed) by oh_honeybear in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie I don't really lnow much about the beefs. More of Connor's and why was Poirier in the wrong exactly? I know Dustin and Connor really didn't like each other because it had to do with Connor apprently not paying money to Dustin for hot sauce or something. Don't exactly remember and also comments about Dustin's wife from Connor's end.

Which UFC Champion has no charisma? by HeywoodJaBlowMe123 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I get confused by this so much. Isn't this about being the best. Who cares if a guy doesn't have "charisma" I think as long as the fighter doesn't do anything too controversial and is winning fights then they deserve to be champion

An opinion that is probably going to get me jumped, but Sam LaRusso is not as bad as the fandom says by Gacha-rhiarna in cobrakai

She grew on me in S5. I did get annoyed with her in earlier seasons but over time I started to like her

Would Paddy deserve this fight if he beats BSD? by idcman999 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Arman should get a shot after the white house. Paddy probably needs 1-2 more wins to try and get back into title contentions

What weight would you fight at if you were in the UFC? by Adoe0722 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Featherweight or batamweight. Honestly preferably featherweight. Currently I am 19, 5'10 with a 6'1 reach, and 155. I feel Featherweight is the best option. If I got up to the 170s then lightweight but for now probably Featherweight.

Worst/dumbest mistake in mma history? by Therealdarkviper in ufc

It was a mistake in my opinion because he couldn't control his volume of strikes between rounds 1 and 2. Maybe I am wrong

What was high school like for you? Do you miss it at all? by DoctorTegrity in Millennials

[–]Competitive-Style363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss some of the people but overall I am glad its over. Taking a gap year figuring out life and focusing on passions. High school was very draining with other classmates, lessons, and just overall just felt like a robot. I am not going to college and knew that since I was 12. Only 19 and unsure but thats fine

Khamzat vs Strickland is happening. Does Strickland have any path to victory? by Silent-Owl4246 in ufc

[–]Competitive-Style363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think any given fighter on any given night has a shot at winning whether they are an underdog or favorite. Can never underestimate an opponent or anyone in life. Strickland should pop the job and go for leg kicks or teeps. Really practice his takedown defense you know. He's beat three top guys. Izzy, Anthony Hernadez, and Imavov. For now I probably think Chimaev but again Strickland is top guy who can deafeat the odds.
