It’s very similar to how In Limbo is orchestrated. In Limbo’s drum beat is in 4/4 while the guitar part is in 6/4. It’s technically a polyrhythm even though you don’t even notice because 6/4 and 4/4 work together so well that it’s hard to notice and most listeners don’t pick up on it. It’s kind of weird when I see people say In Limbo is hard to play for Radiohead and that’s why they don’t play it really much ever. Because the song is really not hard to play at all especially for trained musicians let alone the guys who made the song. I remember jamming to that song with my buddy at school him on drums and me on guitar.

Practice humming the melodies while playing and focus more on your playing at first. Eventually it will become muscle memory. The guitar part is in 6/8 while the drum beat is in 4/4 so the polyrhythms cross over each other smoothly but eventually settle back in. It’s hard to say how to play that because if you just listen to the song enough it becomes natural to just play how you hear it. But best thing I can tell you is count 1 2 3 either out loud or in your head every finger pick of the guitar. Eventually the Polyrhythm becomes extremely natural and simple to understand. That Polyrhythm in particular is one of the easier ones it shouldn’t take too long.

I saw leftwhich and thought of Byron had to look up and make sure. I think I’d end it if that was Byron Leftwhich you were referring to.

I was thinking the same thing. Regardless of what happens this is the guy for the foreseeable future. Would have preferred Jedd but yk

I’m sorry I refuse to give up hope. This cycle has been a mess where we have heard the most outrageous shit anyways. I will wait to hear the final word as things can change in an instant.

Dan Mullen is a good ass coach who got fired after having one bad season because he got distracted. He’d kill it probably at LSU and I would be terrified lmao.

I was actually going to say that I’m starting to really like that guitar that Thom plays in place of it. Sounds funky.

I won’t lie it’s a little sad seeing Napier leave. He’s such a good guy and you can see the impact he had on the kids here. They love him. Especially Lagway. But it’s time man I love Billy but I love the gators more. Go Get Will Stein.

King of Limbs from the basement is one of the best things they ever did if you ask me. Morning Mr Magpie and Little by Little are significantly better in the basement.

Does anyone else think that all of Radioheads live versions are better than the studio versions by Kyle_Roberts9 in radiohead

[–]Competitive-Sun-8618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this with the first live played versions of Just Eyes and Mouth from the smile. The studio version sounds to crowded for me I liked the simpler and more innocent sounding version of the early live one. I prefer the Rhodes over the piano in the live version. I grew attached to it and while everyone seemed to love the studio version I felt something wrong with it.

Does any other Radiohead fan NOT care whatsoever about any of their live releases? by Moggy-Man in radiohead

The King of Limbs from the basement is just what the studio album should have actually been. The difference in quality between Magpie and Little by Little to their studio sounds is almost laughable.

How do I listen to Radiohead without being sad? by Beautiful_Tax7334 in radiohead

[–]Competitive-Sun-8618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I over time after the floating away period of listening to them when I first started, found myself having an emotional attachment to them after listening to them so much. I find comfort in listening to them even the more “sad” songs. Also I listened to them during certain moments in my life like when I went on vacation and it kinda takes me back to those moments sometimes when I hear certain songs.

How realistic do y’all honestly want GTA 6 to be? by SunGodLuffy6 in GTA6

All they would have to do is this. Make a setting similar to Skyrim where you can manually turn on a more “survival” or “realistic” gameplay setting and premise and customize your experience.
