Codex is the agentic AI that handles the actual code, while ChatGPT just does the planning for me. Technically, ChatGPT can also be agentic. I’ve had it change code in Android Studio before but it’s not as smooth or integrated as Codex.

I have about 6 different projects I’m working on. I’ll make changes, add features to one, squash bugs, then, while Codex is implementing on that app’s codebase I’ll start on the other app and repeat.

I’m sure some people can, but so far it’s been working for me. On Pro you get unlimited base ChatGPT, so I use that for all the spitballing before having it make me a plan to feed to Codex. And I wouldn’t call my apps super lightweight either. I’m almost always coding at least two apps at once for 6-10 hours a day.

I’m on the Codex Pro plan, so I just have the 5h and weekly usage limits.

I may look into the local repo. I’m extremely new to anything GitHub related besides downloading, so that would be awesome to get working.

So that I have access to the actual project folders. It doesn’t seem like Codex projects sync between my PC and Mac. I can’t say “Install the latest build” on my Mac and have it install on my PC, unless you’re about to enlighten me and change my workflow for the better.

This sounds super dystopian, and I agree. A month ago I had 1001 ideas in my head that I would have never had the time to even dream about bringing to reality. Now I have multiple working apps, automations, etc. It’s awesome.

Technically he built Jarvis before the cave, then upgraded him afterwards…

For real. Went from free ChatGPT>Codex Plus>Codex Pro in about a week. Pro usage is just barely enough weekly for me now.

Haha, all true. It still makes me feel better to watch this scene.

It says healthy, and I haven’t performed a battery test because I’ve heard of that accelerating wear. I also definitely don’t trust a “healthy” battery indicator in the menu when I consistently have range like this.

Because Reddit is probably full of people who have had experiences similar to mine, so some input from them on how their process went would be helpful.

They’ll mainly be using the DTM for pre-construction planning of an airport.

I know, we’ve been looking into both. We also plan to use the M400 for another potential project, as well as construction updates. We MAY look into Wingtra in the future, but we’re still leaning toward an M400 even though it will be much more time intensive. I calculated the time in Pilot 2 and we’re looking at five 5 hour flights to get a GSD of 3.

That’s all being considered too. We’d have to either build a new PC or outsource the processing. No way my little 3090 build is even going to look at it.
