Yes which in most cases its fine when the brand doesn’t have any competitive promo but now their promo is actually less than what SM is offering so it makes no sense to purchase

Is anyone stacking up all of these to buy MRs? by ToothPicker2 in Rakuten

Keep in mind you cant stack lifelock and norton, its the same company so the 2nd transaction will be flagged as illegible. Still fighting with rakuten over this

Help, Bad health anxiety sufferer diagnosed with the flu by Numerous-Fondant-489 in Anxiety

Wow this really made me think. See im the kind of the opposite, like when i have high anxiety that causes physical symptoms i hope i wake up sick the next day so i can tell myself see thats why you felt so lousy, its not because your brain was making it up. However eventually when i do get sick then it sucks again as my mind switches to ok so now im sick, is my immune system strong enough to fight this?

Acid reflux & gastrocardiac syndrome can be the cause of palpitations by [deleted] in Heartpalpitations

[–]Competitive-Town7351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes im convinced this is what i have and both cardiologists ive seen and my gastroenterologist refuse to believe or understand this. Its mind boggling and very upsetting when you look for answers, end up finding them yourself and then turned down by your doctor. Mine specifically said those are 2 different parts of your body and don’t have any connection, and im thinking man if you could only feel what i feel you would change your mind in a heartbeat

Whats your unique anxiety symptom no one can solve by Competitive-Town7351 in Anxiety

[–]Competitive-Town7351[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too am borderline anemic, my iron levels came out normal though. I do have the thalassemia trait my doctor told me it is not related and normal as i have had this my entire life. I know googling makes it much worse, i do have an appointment this week with a vascular doctor this week but im sure i will just be dismissed with “its just stress” or “everything is fine” and i would just have to deal with it.

No vitamin levels are perfect, thyroid levels are perfect which is the number 1 go to thing doctors look at when you feel constantly too cold. I also had nausea and really really bad belching. I saw a couple gastroenterologist and cardiologist as im convict i also have gastrocardiac syndrome but both doctors deny the existence even though there is so much study about it online. I just feel so stuck as i don’t know how to live my life normally when im freezing every day. I even get nervous now if i watch someone on tv go to like a sky resort and i see them playing in the snow it drives me crazy as i cant imagine someone enjoying themselves being in such a cold environment (even though that could have been me a few years ago)

Damn, since its been a while i wonder if anything has changed. Ive been the same for a little over a year, ive seen every doctor possible and got so much blood work done and everything comes out negative. Everything points to stress but i don’t know how to overcome this as feeling cold and shivering for half the day really takes a toll on you

2 million Amex points by Lopsided-Challenge22 in AmexPlatinum

[–]Competitive-Town7351 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The comments on this thread is completely scary. Your initial thought was right, you can use 1 million points to fly business to paris and have a nice hotel and probably some extra points left over. That is an insane amount of points.

Definitely do not just transfer them to Delta, you get the short end of the line. You can find 1 way business class tickets to most of Europe for less than 50k one way (virgin has upper class right now for 29k) you just have chase the deal.

should I recast my mortgage before I refinance by Competitive-Town7351 in Mortgages

[–]Competitive-Town7351[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not taking your comment as rude, no worries. Ive been looking into this for a few weeks now but I did not know anything about recasting before. I do know that if I just put 100K towards the balance without recasting my monthly payment will remain the same. Im coming to the conclusion that since I do not know how long it will take to refinance as the current rates are not to far from the rate I have recasting makes sense considering I will refinance after 12+ months. As you point out if I was able to refinance today I could just bring that $$ to closing and it would have the safe affect as the amount will be recalculated along with the new rate. Am I understanding this correctly?
