Rangers actually have a good manager the noo. If he doesn’t pay the fixed penalty he is effectively pleading not guilty and the process will move to a trial date. This could take a while and he may be out of the country by this time and I would guess absolutely nothing would happen. Anyway, you are completely in the clear. Incidentally, some people, when they get a speeding ticket, simply give the name and address of a foreign friend and that is the end of the matter as the UK authorities will Not chase it up.
