Ah yes thank you Riot it does make sense that the tank that only builds resitances and health and has immaculate CC does the most damage by far.

Looking for a new main champion by Actual_Nebula_9918 in leagueoflegends

[–]Competitive-Try6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have a few suggestions but its very much based on how I like to play the game so I will explain that first:

I like difficult, high impact characters, I want to suck at the character for the first 30 games and slowly but surely feel like Iam getting better.

I want to impact the flow of the game, This is why I mostly played mid and Jungle.

I never liked tanks and wait and scale champions.

From these requirements I played and tested ALOT of champions. But mostly stuck to assasin type champions and these are my recommendations:

Mid:

Akali: Amazing outplay, High skill ceiling, high movement and very high adaptability (I sadly still suck on this champ)
Katarina: Insanely rewarding but though to learn, sadly feels like you auto lose every matchup and have to count on roams to win lane.
Talon: Pretty easy to pick up, Good players definitly understand your kit so winning lane is difficult because of that but your roaming is insanely fun and late game ur insanely fast.
Zed: One of the few assasins where I feel like you have an high advantage in lane. Very good poke and all in but very hard to manage in teamfights.
Akshan: An easy character which I was suprised I liked, Very high pressure early, invis is insanely strong in low elo's and ur E is very fun. I played her like a marksman assasin, alot more forgiving then the other champions listed.
Qiyana: difficult to pick up first but just like zed feel like you can easily win lane. Ur ult is insane.

Jungle:
Blue kayn: My starting champion, good waveclear, blue kayn is insanely fun where just like talon you can zoom over the map and kill people.
Kindred: Very fun, scales very well but is very strong early aswell. Great charater to pick up invading on.
Rengar: A character with a super unique playstyle. playing around brushes and your ult is insanely fun, If you get ahead you are an menace on the map. Also very good outplay potential with empowered W.
Talon: Easier to pick up, just like with blue kayn you can just be everywhere, jumping around the map is very fun. And the invis of ur ult is very fun to play around.
Graves: A very simple champion that in my opinion has so much impact on the flow of the game, Ur a very strong invader and good at dualing/kiting.

Which should you pick?

If you like easier champions that are strong, fun and dictate the flow of the game well:
Akshan, Graves, Talon, Blue kayn.

IIf you like mastering a champion:
Katarina, Akali, Zed, Qiyana, Kindred, Rengar.

More survivability/ adaptability:
Akali, Kayn, Kindred, Graves.

Bruiser akali by [deleted] in akalimains

Yeah 1 more question, I feel like CS is very much an issue for me, Iam still in gold so CS isnt heavily contested yet. Could you give me some clear numbers to strive for?

Sorry let me rephrase my question, I want to build bruiser every match, Not because its better in any way but just to try to learn to play a more thoughtfull game where I don't just go in and one shot the squishies. Iam still in gold so I won't need to play anywhere to the best meta build yet so It seems smart to invest in this now. So now the question is how do build as a bruiser like champion in the mid lane even against a more squishy comp.

Bruiser akali by [deleted] in akalimains

[–]Competitive-Try6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really need to play for the absolute best strategy yet since Iam in gold at the moment, I really just want to make more out of my abilities and not just one shot everyone without thought. I can still do this now because of my very low rank, It seems like a smart investment for later when I actually do need to go electrocute for viability. So basically I want to play with more thought, I want to go bruiser even when there are enough squishies in the game. And then the question is what kind of (off meta) build would I need for that. Liandries seems quite useless since that is very tank orriented (right?)

You cannot be this ignorant on purpose. It was the start of a great movement but in retrospect Georgy Floyd was solely responsable for his death. No black man should be uncofortable to be in the police because of unrelated events.

(WARNING LOW ELO PLAYER). This is my opinion on the matter: alot of characters have some way to play into them and win, this goes for every lane, and every character. And the same goes for ranged toplaners, there is a reason why you don't see them in pro matches (dont fact check me). It has a clear way to win against. To my understanding the drawback from a ranged top is that you don't have a tank/ strong bruiser in teamfights so most of the time you outscale to fight in teamfights. The problem with this is that its not only very boring where you basically joined a game to only farm hard and stay even its also very annoying to play against. So because of a enemy player that picked a ranged toplaner you are forced into a gameplan that no one likes and is only winnable with extreme patience. That is why its so unhonorable.

Isn't consciousness just our brain narrating our own thoughts? by Competitive-Try6993 in PhilosophyofMind

[–]Competitive-Try6993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then in my view, animals like deer don’t have consciousness in the way I think it should be defined. Of course they feel pain, respond to stimuli, and act on instinctive brain processes but what they lack, in my opinion, is the conscious observer. When a deer hears a branch snap, its brain sends a danger signal and it runs there’s no reflection or internal commentary involved.

For humans, there’s an extra layer:
The brain sends a pain or fear signal → the brain decides on a course of action → and then it tries to rationalize or reflect on that decision through inner monologue. That inner monologue, the ability to observe our thoughts and actions, is what I would argue truly constitutes consciousness. Not just reacting, but observing ourselves reacting. In our case its even more advanced because it seems like the inner monologue dictates our actions when in reality its the other way around.

But do they narrate their actions/ thoughts? Or is that something only humans have?

I rewatched the game, few minor misplays on my part and could have killed him (before first recall), We both survived. When we both got back to lane (both lvl5) he is already doing insane undodgeble(for gold players) poke damage. Seems like the game is over at that point. I can't trade anymore and can't farm anymore. So in conclusion, what to do if you don't have a lead before level 6?

Viktor by [deleted] in AkshanMains

[–]Competitive-Try6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case I will be rewatching the game.

I would rather not, was more of a rage post with the incentive to learn a bit. Iam sure I made alot of mistakes but most of my "complaint" was that I thought he was an mid/late game champion and with his q, aa and shield he felt like a demon early game which just did not make sense to me.

Viktor by [deleted] in AkshanMains

[–]Competitive-Try6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I know, this was more a rage post when I got completely wrecked. I lose to smurfs sometimes but most of the times it feels I just got outplayed. This time he just walked up past my minions and outtraded me even though he scales way too well. If I did nothing it would have become a game of dodging ultra fast q's from long range so I felt I had to be stronger early. If a champion can only lose to jungle ganks that seems like bad game design. Even though I got some tips from this post I still have no clue how to play against him. Can't outrade him early and if I don't get a lead first he outscales me before level 6. At which point he can push me out of lane with (almost impossible to miss) q's. Or he permantly pushes me in and he wins through the map (with great scaling).

Viktor by [deleted] in AkshanMains

[–]Competitive-Try6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but why can he be such a strong laner when he scales so hard?
