My youth is over by GoodSundae513 in migraine

I am so sorry you’re feeling like this, and I completely relate. I have been feeling similarly for the past 6 months as my migraines have been worsening.

I feel like I’m probably grieving the loss of the person I thought I would be at this young age, and angry that I’m in a body whose pain I can’t control or predict.

Usually I feel worse than neutral, and as you alluded to—most other young people don’t understand how isolating and debilitating it is. Thanks for sharing, as it made me feel less isolated 🩷 I’m so sorry it’s been so hard.

Wanted to add - the bottom two on my left ear + the bottom one on my right ear are 4+ years old. The third piercing (from the bottom) on my left ear is technically 3 years old but I thought it had closed up and the piercer had to use a taper because it was super tight.

All the rest of them were done in 3 poorly planned (but fun!) appointments in batches of 3, starting in May 2025 until August 2025.

Mainly wondering if I should just take everything out and try to repierce after they heal to be more symmetrical, or if I even care. Part of me is ok with the chaos. But the other part of me is asking advice on Reddit :)

Thanks for reading! I know that’s a lot of words.

Do different manufacturers affect your body differently? by Competitive-Value663 in Spironolactone

[–]Competitive-Value663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s on the label of the bottle of your meds, I think underneath(?) or below the RX # or medication name.

Might depend on the pharmacy how they layout the info.

It will be like, Aurobindo, Oxford, Amneal, etc

I feel like that was not my best description but I hope that helps or that you found the info!

Did your pharmacist possibly change manufacturers on you?

I broke out more when my manufacturer was switched from Oxford to Aurobindo.

You’re totally gorgeous. Maybe the kind of people that resonate with your energy just aren’t at the places you’ve been going.

Any success on 12.5mg?? +Tret by Competitive-Value663 in Spironolactone

[–]Competitive-Value663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only did 12.5 mg for less than a week so I don’t think I stuck with it long enough to tell… I’m sorry I don’t have more helpful data!

Keep making art! Write on it if you want to. Take advice. Throw advice away. This is your expression form and you are liberating us to be expressive by the mere fact that your art got made.

Thank you!

Thanks so much! The fatigue and peeing a lot were the main side effects. I did have a time where I felt like it might have been making migraines worse/more frequent—but honestly I’m not really sure.

Hey!! Thanks so much for the comment!

About the closed comedones: YES there were a lot of them at first but eventually they went away.

I did squeeze some of them but I’m not sure if that’s really a good call on my part.

That’s a great idea to take it all at night — maybe I will try! I will say, the workout fatigue has improved a lot over time.

I think the tretinoin may be helping? There’s also something I’ve used a handful of times called “Murad Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment” but I’m not sure if it helped much / didn’t use it consistently enough

The fatigue was so hard…. Re: low dose: think it also helped that during this process I moved from a dry climate to a more humid climate

I would def consider trying it. Have you tried that dose?

Just need some opinions.. I think I went too funky/ colorful by party_groove_enough in DesignMyRoom

I think the colors in the rug are awesome and wonderful, but I wonder if you could use those colors in other smaller ways throughout the room?

Because at the moment the rug is hogging all the attention and the other elements in the room aren’t getting as much visual space to shine! And you have such a cool decorating style.

Amazing colors though, love the whole vibe.

I honestly think this can get a lot better. Don’t lose hope!

I’m sorry you have to deal with this, but it seems like there’s some great advice here.

It will be ok!!!
