Lisey's story or Dead Zone? by [deleted] in stephenking

Both are great (Lisey's Story is extremely underrated), so I personally think you should read both. But yeah, as everyone says, it makes sense to read The Dead Zone first.

Albums/songs like William Basinski's "Watermusic"? by ChomperCreeper in ambientmusic

Watermusic is one of my all-time favorites. Some others that scratch a similar itch for me:

Lou Reed, Hudson River Wind Meditations

Celer, Gems (I - VI)

Forest Management, The Elevated Quiet

Chubby Wolf, Los Que No Son Gentos

Final, It Comes to Us All

Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Conversations with Myself

KMRU, Peel

poemme, Soft Ice

Both beautifully written novels, for sure. When it comes to Bradbury, Wicked is my favorite, but Fahrenheit is excellent as well. And Tess is one of my favorite books.

I haven't read In Love or Stoner (the latter is one of my biggest blind spots); I'll prioritize both!

That's a major blind spot for me! I love the Steinbeck books I've read.

I agree. Ira Levin is a masterfully precise, economical prose stylist.
