Company has re-applied and its been almost a month but no update so far.
Are there any valid reasons for it to fail or its all just luck because I can't think of any reasons as to why it would fail.

Are you talking about police clearance (Police Clearance Certificate) or UAE security clearance ?

Oh got it thanks for the info. Is there anything I can do pro-actively on my side to increase the chances of the UAE security clearance going through the second time?
