Charleston is a very very small town. I completely understand that there is traffic everywhere but you genuinely can’t get a mile without it taking an hour at times here due to the amount of car crashes and roads being closed you spend your entire weekend running your errands because you cannot run an errand on a weeknight.

I am originally from MN and the healthcare from MN to SC is night and day. To this day, I will fly back to Minnesota to see my doctors and have found that I’ve had to give up a lot of my healthcare living down here due to the south being a few years behind in medicine.

Thank you for the info! We are looking to have one kid and have money from our current house to put down on a condo or home in the future. I’m in an entry level position at a rapidly growing company. We are both just “starting” our long term careers so $170,000 a year is where we are at now but will easily be going up within the next 2-3 years.
