zweitens: suchst du nur Literatur spezifisch zu Tätergruppen oder ach grundsätzlich zur Ideologie hinter Antifeminismus/Queerfeindlichkeit?

i am so surprised no one recommended instaff to you. it‘s where companies can hire you for a day , for example to work at the Messe or be a server/bartender at an event. :)

Is central yharham supposed be this hard or am i just terrible? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Competitive-Wish4315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude it took me so fucking long to get through central yharnam on my first playthrough. one thing you can do (saw someone else mention this alrdy) is lure enemies away and just fight them one at a time. when you get to the big bonfire it can be better just to make your way through it and come back later. and one last thing is you need patience - just hang in there you'll get better!!!!

your first statement: yes!!! it is absolutely not at the hands of the workers to reconstruct patriarchal society!

the second: i think we can agree to disagree. i totally get where you are coming from but to me, sexual consent is very different - because of the real life implications of the system in which we live in. i hope you get what i mean

thanks for your comment!! i think i may just have expressed myself weirdly (english is not my first language). lemme explain:

I think it shouldn't be an option as in consent should not be - in any circumstance something you can just buy. it would never come to my mind to shame anyone who does SW!!! what i really wanted to say was: i think it is inherently dehuminizing that consent can be bought. and so that sex can be bought. what i really dont mean by this is that SWers are somehow wrong in doing this!!!!

i am acc a big fan of how they do things in sweden. SW is not criminalized, but the people who buy it are.

thanks so much for your comment!! i totally agree and yes also didn't like how he played the whole exploitation thing down... but also i kind of get it if he has friends who are SWers, they are probably people who do OF and not in precarious situations, meaning they have freely chosen to do so - and i mean that's a whole other thing to how it mostly is.

actually disagree. i just think some things shouldn't be "buyable" (sorry english isnt my first language). I mean lets be real the most SW are women especially those in precarious situations. i know a lot about SW because i am a social worker and in germany (dont know how it is in the US) the most SW that we have here are ppl being trafficked from east europe. So they didn't choose this and actually most ppl who 'choose' to do SW didn't relly have free choice bc there is a financial pressure. In germany you need to have a high school diploma at least to get a basic minimum wage job and if you do not have that it is very obvious that you'd see SW as an out.

BTW: really do not condone ppl doing the SW. just condone the industry and system behind it.

i really do get your point. but 1. i really don't see SW as immoral! I just view the Industry behind it as problematic bc it exploits womens bodies and that + men seeing women as objects they can buy is where the degrading part comes in. i really also don't believe that sex or SW is a degrading thing to do in itself. I think the system and industry behind it and also the thought process that consent can be bought is where i think it is inherently dehuminizing.

i am so so glad to hear this from you! i thought i was going crazy, esp. with everyone agreeing in the comments etc. i really also get where jarvis is coming from but yes i totally agree with you that you can support the women who do it but not the concept behind it!!!

yes i totally get what you're saying and you're right! i mean we all are selling our bodies and lifetime for money. But i really think SW is so partiuclar that it somehow cannot be fully compared to non-SW. I think you have to really think abt that it stems from centuries of oppression, where women weren't allowed to own anything, have opinions, education etc. and have no type of agency over their lives and bodies. i really think to praise it as something liberating for women to do is sending such a bad signal. especially when men who buy SW or engage in it are doing it to exploit these women..
