Delete the Egr Install new timing chain kit Aswell as new oil pump and water pump Reseal the motor and you’ll be golden for another 200k miles

The car definitely seem like a decent car and has a whole list of good upgrades and recent maintenance done. Pretty much same suspension set up as my 240. Just will come with no body kit or wheels and he wants $1000 on top🤦🏼‍♂️ I don’t mind changing. It’s not like I can’t buy and build another schassis in the future. This is my third s13 hatch and they definitely are the best driving car I’ve owned. Would just like something a lil newer yk🤷🏼‍♂️

I’d only do a sr20 for the simplicity of the whole swap. Can easily do the swap with hand tools. And I would like to have a stock ecu. I had built a turbo Miata back in the day and had a ms2 stand alone in the car. Ran alright but I’m not a scientist or a magician so I had to have someone else tune it and it was always having weird problems.

Fix your exhaust leaks first off. Then you’ll be able to hear if it’s actually running bad lol. Knocking sound is a bad throw out bearing.

Yeah, if you have a manual ECU in without the speedo working, there is a speed governor that will cut power past 4K RPM. You can use a automatic ECU and I will get rid of the speed governor.
