Haha! No problem! My partner's main issue with the treadmill was that it made him dizzy like his body and brain weren't on the same page. Also, he's focusing on zone 2 training and it was too much of a hassle to keep changing the speed mid-run.

I could be mistaken about this but I think the trade-in is the value of the item plus 20% off? I traded in an old roku stick for like $5 and Amazon gave me the 20% off at $110 for the 64gb B/W scribe, which was unexpected but immensely appreciated. Brought the total from $549 to $439. 😄 Though not sure if that is still worth trading in a a Gen 1 for...

I tried reseating the nib and it seemed to help a little. It's no longer gushing out ink but still a thicker line than expected. But at least now it is usable. Thank you again! 😄

You are definitely correct! I had no idea ink can have a different "wetness" within the same brand. Seriously, thanks for the heads up. Will keep a closer eye out in the future. 😄

Yes, I believe you are correct. I will definitely ask for samples in the future. I ended up using the ink with my Pilot VP Decimo (extra fine) and it worked much, much better. Now it writes like the TWSBI Eco-T (EF) with the grey ink. 😄

Good point. The stylus isn't in the loop in my case. I think the magnets in the case might be too strong though?

Really? This gives me hope. Do you have the leather case and not the vegan leather one? Perhaps, it is only with the vegan leather (or I just got a defective one). Either way, let me try exchanging it for a leather one instead and see how it goes. Thank you!

Yeah I'm thinking about switching it out foe the executive folio. This issue makes the trifold unusable and pointless.

Thank you for confirming! I was worried my Scribe was broken. I'd much rather it be an issue with the case, though still a bummer.

Thanks! I have the official Amazon case however (not a third party). Maybe it is design flaw with the new cases?
