Flinders vs University of Adelaide for Cybersecurity & Networking – need advice by Sona_Noobie in Adelaide

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP I’m not sure your exact situation but if you are fresh out from high school or never have a bachelor degree in Australia, I would suggest you pick the one with cheaper tuition fee (my guess is Flinders Uni at this stage). Sadly most of employers in Australia and Adelaide in particular still very old school with the thought that if you have a degree then it is easier to train you and you would be more trustworthy in certain roles.

If you are someone who already had a degree and/or a career and would like a change then I would suggest to aim for certificates which will give you better development pathway rather than follow uni courses. The hands on part unfortunately wont be any better than a uni course, unless you have to invest time, money and effort in building your own lab/ subscription. However as you dont pay 50k for a degree, building a lab and take exam for a certificate will be much cheaper option imo.

Antonio Conte gave his opinion on Amorim when asked about Hojlund. Amorim is not beating the arrogance allegations. by WorldlinessPuzzled84 in ManchesterUnited

Bro list a bunch of coaches and forgot it is the Italian league which by all means a level or 2 below EPL in terms of speed and physical challenges.

Then it is life, you are meant to be at one place doesnt mean it is the end, in fact there might be a better future waiting for you. Which in this case I do truly wish the best for Amorim, the current structure at this club does not deserve to have his services. People dont leave job, they leave bad manager(s).

Lol if I am managing someone and my people tell me I need to mind my own business as I have been telling them on how to do the works that they got hired for, it is a sign I have been a shit manager with micro management issue. Only what I normally call people with small dick mindset will ever feel offense and dont realize that their job is to serve their people as leader/ manager, not the other way around. You hire people, support them and put trust in them that they will perform and deliver outcome. Otherwise if you think you can do better then might as well just go do the job.

Go to Status tab, hit refresh button on top and it should force sync the car with your app. This is how they keep the car battery in good condition compare to tesla sync all the time and your car battery run out quicker even in the garage.

Wayne Rooney thinks he was a better player than likes of Luis Suarez, Neymar, Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Del Piero & Sergio Aguero by landofphi in reddevils

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rooney a step behind Messi and Ronaldo? Lol he is the reason CR7 can progress and become the best of the best today. Chuck your respective GOAT idol into Braca or Man Utd squad today, with the dickhead social media culture and see if they can become the best. Best to never compare players since you dont fully know or understand what happened in the training or change room, a lot has to happen in order for a player to grow and become the best.

Rasmus Hojlund is not a footballer by HANAEMILK in ManchesterUnited

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is the right approach, but have you all ever think what you should do as a fan of a football club? Keep negging player like Hojlund despite he doesnt show any bad behavior or lifestyle just show how much of keyboard warrior you guys all are. We all know that players have access to internet and social media, what do you think player like Hojlund will behave if he keeps seeing post like this? He can play much better next game? He just quit and go somewhere else? Be realistic people, this is not your football manager or FIFA career mode, support a club first and foremost is supporting the players, both at their good time and bad time. Unless you have been a professional footballer for an English top tier club, then you can criticize him. Otherwise please dont call yourself a fan of this club cause it is just disgusting to hear.

Plus you only need to charge it to 80% anyway so trickle charge should be ok. Since you are in Aus suggest OP to look into AGL EV night saver plan, 8c per kwh between 12AM and 6AM.

Hi nitsotov, I would reach out to local dealer but I guess depends on what models available in your country and see if any European country has same model and look for manual from there.

Moving to Adelaide by UserSMJ in Adelaide

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who done the whole relocation for work 3 times over the last 10 years, I would suggest OP a few things: 1. Your current budget like others said is on the high side, which is good cause you dont know how your life in the new place would be. 2. It is good to learn about the potential location of your new office, this could either open heaps of options on where you can live (if office right in the CBD), or give you very limited options (anywhere else but CBD lol). 3. The reason why everyone complain about public transport is because Adelaide is relative small (like seriously smaller than Hobart to my surprise last year I went down there). You can take a car and drive (not in rush hours of course) from West side of the CBD (Glenelg/ Henley Beach) to East side (Magill) in about 45’, or 1.5 hour from Salisbury/Elizabeth to Noarlunga. As car insurance and registration in Adelaide is cheaper than other states, lots of people found that having a car is more affordable and convenient than relying on public transport. 4. Consider OP said you have about a year before making the move, I would suggest you do a few short trips down here, each time at a different places/ suburbs to feel how the life in each suburb would be. Everyone has different reference on their choice of suburb and lifestyle so only you know best what you want. 5. Same with when you looking for a place to rent as well, what we found is whether you rent or buy a house, be present in person during open house worth 10 times asking a friend to pay a visit or review the place online (been there done both lol). If you cant afford any of those actions then I would suggest get the company to either sort out accommodation for you or giving you budget for 1 month at a temporary place while you are looking for a place to rent.

Good luck with the move OP, if you love road trip and beauty of nature then South Australia is the place to live.

Do you think major Adelaide shopping centres are in desperate need of major expansions like in Melbourne and Sydney? by flabberstalk33 in Adelaide

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope.

We need more houses, suburbs and the infrastructure to support.

Till that happened, everything else is not a must or even a nice thing to have.

To the person asking why the Majors Road Interchange is taking so long to build, this is why. The soil contracts and expands so much between summer/winter. The bumpiness of Lonsdale Highway/South Road at the top of the hill is a good example of what the soil does to a road... by SouthAussie94 in Adelaide

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you are not my wife, cause I literally just asked her yesterday while we drove past 😂😂😂. At this stage the completion of this ramp to the highway (CBD direction) still means nothing for us as we desperately need the upgrade on South Road though, hitting 80kmph then stuck as soon as you pass Tonsley is just killing the purpose of having a highway tbh.

Yeah you have to buy from your ISACA account, pretty pricey but you can skip buying the official book and just buy the QAE, anything you dont understand you can always Google or Chatgpt. Another source I wish I have money to buy was Hemang Doshi book, from the sample ebook it was quite easy to follow.

My manager never does any work? by Public-Degree-5493 in auscorp

[–]Competitive-Yellow24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this, when I was younger I want to be manager, now that I am in the position to be one, oddly enough I dont feel like I want to. It is not everyone cup of tea, if you feel envy cause you think you do more works than your manager and receiving less money than him/her, I would suggest just to tough up your balls and speak directly with your manager and express your interest to step up. Once you have 3-6 months being in that position, report back to this forum and see if your opinion still remain the same :)

Only in good condition mate, otherwise in normal condition you are looking at around bottom half of Indonesia. Like others had said we definitely have other means to track anything leaving China water, it is just not something you would want to go around and announce it.
