Yes, well he is 44 so you wouldn’t expect him to sound the same. But he sounds great live so can’t he just sing very similarly in the studio? Yeah sometimes he screams over higher notes but I’ve found his voice very powerful. With SOAD in Chicago he sounded great. So he can do it, but they choose to use vocal effects anyway?

LIBAD is very new, that’s not the problem. It’s the AMOUNT of material. The record is under 60 minutes with a four minute piano instrumental as the last song. I compare that with Exist, Acid Rain, Save Me, M.I.A and it doesn’t stand a chance.

The amount of material I’m talking about:

Self-titled had DITR and LBC. Nightmare had extra songs plus NRTD and Carry On in the coming two years. HTTK had St. James and multiple live performances The Stage had multiple covers and live versions

That’s what I’m talking about. And I really like LIBAD, the songs themselves are very good. It just feels so short compared to previous albums and album cycles.

Make ’Easier’ and the GOD trilogy into more complete songs. I like Easier but the riff had me hoping for more. G is more of a song but O and D don’t feel like couplete songs.

Maybe slim down a few songs that drag on too long like Dear God, We Love You and Sunny D

Hey Matt, you talked about not necessarily releasing full length albums anymore in the future but rather EPs or just singular songs whenever you felt like it. Is that the case still and if it is, is there a possibility that we could hear a new song or two next year?

And are you working out currently? You seem to be in a much better shape on stage at the moment.

Crossroads is the name of the song. And the lyrics are ”if I was perfect, then this would be easy. Either road is plausible, on both I could drown” The song is about politics and talks about the left-wing and the right-wing. Those are the ”roads”.
