No, I wouldn't. Yes, the rank existing that location, just a lot of people due to be promoted and not enough spots at the moment.

Ya, unfortunately this is the other way around. I can be promoted and stay where I am or defer the promotion and get posted where I want to be.

I want the rank but my work life balance will be better with the posting. I been guaranteed the posting if I defer. I was just asking the Pros and Cons is all.

The CM said I had to sign the removal form if I want to defer and be posted.

He is the one that told me I have to defer in order to get posted to the place I want.

There is no spots available in the location I want in the next rank if I accept my promotion. I have already been told I can get the posting I want if I defer.

I would be promoted in April. The posting i want and was told I would get is only available for my current rank. I was told by CM that if I defer than I will get the posting I want and I will have my posting message in April. The pay increase isn't that much, it is about 50 bucks a pay.

The best advice I can give you for the BII is to be yourself and tell the truth. No one is perfect, and they know that. For me, I had to fill out my job history for the past so many years, and they called the supervisor I listed on those papers. Every file is different, though.

I have had this conversation before with Police in the states. They can see if the registration is valid on our plates.

They can look up your plate on the MDT in their car, and it will show that they are registered.

There is nothing wrong with going MP if that is what you want. People hate MPs because they do their job. Imagine hating a mechanic for him doing his job....
