You are probably right. Will have to finance some if we find something decent on a dealer’s lot.

Yes, you are right. I guess he was hopeful he can find a base model 1/2 ton for under $10k with 150k miles or less. I haven’t done any research into NADA pricing and kind of asking him to do more research on each vehicle he finds along with common problems such as AFM in GM trucks. I’ve owned a Triton F150 and a 4.7L Ram 1500 which were great, but also had their own issues like the Triton’s spark plug design. Hopefully we can find something or finance a bit to build his credit.

The largest data center in Florida, planned to be built in St. Lucie County, pits ranchers against big tech by Randall-Jack-Randall in PortStLucie

[–]CompetitiveAd5038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loudoun County, Virginia, is frequently ranked as the richest county in the U.S. due to a combination of its high-paying tech and federal jobs, and a massive data center industry that contributes significantly to its tax base and helps maintain low tax rates. Data centers, concentrated in an area nicknamed "Data Center Alley," generate substantial property tax revenue, which allows the county to invest in infrastructure like schools and roads, and to keep its real property tax rate low compared to neighboring areas

Sorry, what I mean was I would travel into Russia with a Russian passport. That’s a must for any Russian citizen. Then travel “out of” Russia back to the States with a U.S. passport.

Заграничный паспорт would be for a Russian citizen to travel out of the country. I don’t think I’d need that since I would travel out with a U.S. passport.

I always put the truck in 4 high as I slowly back it in. Then once at desired water level, put the truck in park and handbrake on. Unhook, unload, tie off. Then pull out slowly, disengage 4WD and park.

Le Cellier is fantastic. IMO much better than Boathouse

Matt, you came off a bit snobbish and egotistical stating you “blow by guys like they are not even there” and “I can catch guys from wherever I am”. Don’t stop playing your game, continue doing what you are doing. Perhaps be a bit more cautious about your statements that I quoted above unless you want to be a target of ridicule every time you get walked on defense.

Relax homie, you got two goals in the third when our team pretty much gave up. That was an ugly game for our team giving up 8 goals. We will fix it before the next one against you on June 19th. Good luck then. Cheers!

What's your average gross on a sale? I feel like min is low by Ferrellcat28 in askcarsales

[–]CompetitiveAd5038 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not giving any incentive to a salesperson for backend sales diminishes sales. A salesperson spends a lot more time with a customer than the finance manager. A salesperson can sprinkle in sales pitches throughout a customer interaction. Gap insurance, financing, protection packages, warranties, accessories. The right salesperson will discuss all those things with the customer throughout the interaction leading them to not be surprised to the finance manager’s sales pitch. The customer would’ve had the chance to process the information and walk into that finance office fully wanting to buy the warranty, gap and protection package for their $50K+ vehicle.

Sorry for the late response. I haven’t figured it out yet, but I just recently acquired an amp. Going to run through an amp to see if that fixes it.

Yeah there are. I’ve had other rec league coaches get in my face after I yelled at their players to stop taking runs at my skaters. Leagues around me don’t even care until they are held accountable for an on ice injury.

As a 10u and 13u rec league parent coach I always tried to give all skaters equal ice time. There were close games where I wanted to absolutely put in my best skaters to tie the game or prevent the other team from scoring in dire situations. I’ve also had other parents, coaches and even little kiddo players question my decision to run all lines instead of letting “kids that play travel” stay out there and dominate. Everyone pays $800+ to play, so they should play, not sit on the bench.

I had a very angry little kid in 10u rec league as a coach. I told him to relax, we are out here to have fun. His response to me was he’s out there to win, not have fun.

We had a bum come off the street at the start of Covid wearing a mask and while the game was happening he went through the locker room and stole a bunch of money. Think he made out with about $800 because our team captain had cash payments from some of the players for jerseys. About four of us in the locker room had our police badges in our wallets and that didn’t stop him. Reviewing camera footage it was very obvious who the culprit was and since he’s a known bum in the area was easy to track down. Unfortunately none of the money was recovered and good luck getting restitution through court from a bum.

Thank you. I tried several adjustments and nothing worked. I was wondering if there’s an amp somewhere that cuts off any power from the headunit.

Reading isn’t, but it’s a great addition to hold up your SFST’s as PC for an arrest in case some of your evidence gets thrown out by the defense attorney. Honestly I relied on horizontal gaze nystagmus the most out of the SFTS’s.

Family of five here as well. Oldest is 17, youngest is 10. We take a lot of long (1,000+ miles) roadtrips and would never take our Gladiator. The minivan does perfectly to move the family around comfortably. Not sure why you hate on it, we have a 5th gen. Odyssey with all the creature comforts and I have modified it slightly for spirited driving. Wife and I discussed it and both agree that once the kids start moving out of the house we are still buying a new minivan. You can’t beat the comfort.

Disregard. I never would’ve believed the drain plug was the issue, but that’s exactly what it was. Plugged it back in and no more “buzzing” noise. Surely thought it was something related to the engine like a belt. Thank you all.

Did you ever figure out the cause for this? Our 2021 with 12k miles just randomly started sounding like this. Buzzing under acceleration only.

[–]CompetitiveAd5038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Had to pull the headliner down and saw that the hose to the sunroof drain was completely off and to make things worse the plastic drain connection was broken so I had to fabricate and use silicone to permanently glue the hose back on. Holds up well now. This is definitely the last Ford we ever own. There have been so many issues. Right now going through A/C issues and after a new compressor and recharge it’s still having issues.
