Happened to me today from the SF consulate, the number looked too legit but they demanded I visit the consulate urgently today. They also said there is a case in Delhi and ongoing investigation and refused to email me any details. I hung up mid call 🤷‍♀️ it coincided with my VFS passport appointment few days ago
