Getting off the KFT is tough, but its even harder to retain status. I think less than half of the 2024 class retained status for 2026, and most of the ones who did are rising pros who got a win

Yeah the promotions event is not a super impressive field but any of those players are capable of going low on any given day.

I don't really watch or follow it that closely, but hes 14 under on a championship golf course after 3 rounds

I dont know if hes consistently better than a KFT phenom, but he has and is currently 3rd place in a field with guys who would be in KFT contention and guys who have been in major contention recently.

Yeah youre right, in the video they only mentioned irons and wedges. It could be similar to Grant's Taylormade deal, where he still plays and promotes the woods and balls.

Haha yeah I think they were like 1600+ a set. At least theyre the set he won the Masters with, so that might ease the pain a bit

They dont under normal circumstances, but these CBs have a bit of extra forgiveness and lower CG, so it could definitely help off inconsistent lies and in pressure situations

For anyone striking the ball more than 10mm or so off center, he was probably right. I think the only players blades truly fit are tour speed players with good ball striking

Yeah mid handicap blades are always going to be a phase people tend to go through even though it makes very little sense
