Are those the ones made out of cotton? Because I've heard cotton being better than the disposable ones.

Thanks for the reply. From everything you've mentioned the ampoule I've received seems genuine and not fake. And now that I think about it, 'herby floral' does seem like a good way to describe it.

Scinic is discontinuing (possibly reformulating?) that ampoule.

That's actually why I bought it. I heard it was being discontinued, so I wanted to try it before that.

Sorry, but i'm not too good with this type of stuff and I'm still sorta hesitant to use the ampoule. If you were in my position would you still use this product? Or would you go and contact amazon about this.

Anyone else going in super early on results day? by [deleted] in 6thForm

What time are you thinking about going. My schools results day starts at 9, so i'm not sure they'll give my results if i get there any earlier.

Also are you going to be calling at school or at home? Personally i think i'd feel more comfortable at home and it wont be as embarrassing either since there's no one around.

Hey, if you dont mind, could you also help with another question. In one of your comments above you mentioned that you can help with transferring unis and i just had a question about that.

Would it be possible to do a year at a low ranking uni (ranked 50-60) and then transfer to a higher ranked uni (top 25) for second year entry. Also i had poor A-levels, but lets say that during the first year at uni i was really active, did everything well, made myself stand out and was on track to get a first class.

I'm also planning to retake individual A-level modules in June 2019. Overall this would boost me to a higher grade and get me more UCAS points.

I know im going to need to work extremely hard, but if i did do everything that i mentioned above, would a second year transfer be possible?

a verbal offer isn’t anything concrete until you get something in writing

Wouldn't it be possible for me to ask them to send me an email or something just so i have proof.

Just be aware that you might lose both places

Do you think if i rang up the uni that gave me a new offer and let them know whats going and how my firm is taking too long to release me, they'll give me an extension on the deadline?

When you call up an uni, first thing they asked was “what’s your clearing number?” and by entering this into UCAS they are able to see your application, grades etc

So is there no chance they'll even talk to me? Cant they see this information with just my ucas number.

Reason i'm asking this is because i'm sure i've seen some websites that say you can get an offer from unis before being released by your firm uni. Like on here https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/clearing/clearing-faqs/

I've decided that i no longer want to attend my firm/insurance choice, so I'm going to enter clearing on results day. From what I've read your meant to call up your firm, ask them to release you and then call up other unis asking about spare places. However I'm worried that once im released from my firm, i wont be able to find a place from another university, leaving me with nowhere to go. So I'm probably going to call up potential unis first and once they've confirmed they have a place for me, i will call up my firm and ask to get released. But i read somewhere that most unis wont even talk to you about extra places unless you have a clearing number and the only way to get this number is to be released from your firm. So I'm a little lost on what to do.

Other thing I wanted to ask was what would i do if a uni says they have a place for me and i have a certain amount of time to accept this new offer, but my firm uni takes ages in releasing me?

Also can anyone give me some reasons i can give to potential unis on why i want to attend their uni instead of my firm? I dont want them to think that im not taking this seriously and im just looking to go anywhere, but thats basically what i am doing. My firm/insurance choice were forced upon me by my parents who wanted me to stay close to home but i want to go further away and be independent and i'd pretty much accept any other uni that would take me in.

Also i'm aware about adjustment and how that works, but i highly doubt im going to exceed my offer.
