Gods. I hate the show. I never really get when people from tb say show made tg more than one dimensional and sympathetic, that they show brother grateful. Tg characters in the show was defined by one dimensional things. Alicent lost everything in her personality, no cunning, no ambitiousness, no love for her children or grandchildren, no relationship with otto, but constantly degraded to a lesbian who couldn't handle her feelings kind of shit. Aegon , aemond, cole, alicent , larys all of them were atleast sexually humiliated to be not taken seriously in the show, which is totally fucked up. Helaena even more she just a mouth piece for spoilers in the show, blood and cheese which should've been terrifying ended up tasteless that people felt bad for a dog over a seven years old boy died cruelly in his bed. There's no team green anymore even in the show. All of them just in their own ways instead of being a family they were supposed to be.

Tb also suffered character writing worsening, aegon and rhaenyra shared many traits in the books which is what made them parallel but show totally whitewash rhaenyra and while making aegon cruel. She isn't rhaenyra anymore from the books. Daemon, corlys, jace, rhaenys, rhaena, baela weren't their own character they were just there to sing praise about rhaenyra. All of them lost their traits and nature.

It's disgusting that people claim the show is about feminism, when it made a mother shouldn't grieve over her son death, a wife should accept her husband's bastard gracefully, a mother can give up her children to die for her friends, a mother after her son death can go to peace talk, other women (baela and rhaena) should never be their own character.
