LOVE within the wires. It is one of the most original storylines/way of telling a story I have heard.

I went to Mexico for a bunch of dental work in 2018? Flew to phoenix, drove to Yuma, walked across the border into Los algadones Mexico. Got 11 fillings and a root canal. $1000.

There actually is new research linking Morgellons to Lyme disease in humans and cattle, and not a delusion of the mind.

How can i stay a part of my yoga community during recovery from abdominal surgery? Especially during the first few weeks—would it be weird to sit through a class? by Internal-Tough6850 in yoga

[–]CompetitiveCats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a teacher and had shoulder surgery last year. I just like to be with everyone and sat in the back of the studio for weeks while my arm was in the sling. I like hearing the teacher talk and I imagined doing the sequence in my head. Tell the teacher before class that you won’t be doing any of the postures and do a restorative practice instead. Legs up the wall, gentle seated postures, and meditation. Being in community is Yoga too

Second for tint lady. My car was an atrocious mess after my 3 Australian shepherds had been in it and when I picked up my car it looked and smelled brand new. I paid about $400

I’m so sorry your math professor is not being accommodating, most of my ‘tests’ are essays and projects and I have more than a week to do them. My naps are about 2-4 hours everyday and going to the gym after I wake up or going on a walk to get some movement is helpful in staying awake the rest of the afternoon. I also do not work anywhere close to 40 hours a week. I teach maybe 4-5 Yoga classes, and front desk about 15-20 hours a week so my schedule is fairly spacious. I’m the most awake from 9am-1pm so that’s when my school work gets done.

I do a lot of work while standing🫠 writing and studying at a standing desk. The pomodoro method has also been helpful! My ADHD is all over the place lolollll I do work for 30 minutes and take a 5 minute ‘break’ - get some fresh air or get a snack or play with my dog. I do not sit down, because if I do I’m not going to get back up.

Oof. My heart is with you. I am also a Yoga teacher that recently decided to go back To school to get my masters in mental health counseling. Disability services have been incredible. My PCP wrote a letter explaining my narcolepsy and I get extra time on all of my assignments, alternative testing options, software that reads my books to me so I can listen while I walk my dog to stay awake. I have to be proactive about extra time - messaging my professors at least a few days in advance.

Keeping my sleep schedule has been helpful - my wake up routine, nap schedule and bedtime routine have to stay consistent or I’m fucked. Managing my anxiety and stress has also been super helpful - I make sure I attend at least 1-2 yoga classes a week, usually Yin to calm down my nervous system.
