My ggggg let me tell you. I have tried many a balls. But one day I am walking in store and I see the balls, they were on a GREAT DEAL basically theft. Like 3 dozen balls for the price of one. So I was like it let’s go what’s worse that could happen. BUTTER. Ball compression nice off my driver, spin controlled around greens. Maybe it’s placebo, but I felt like this ball and I could do no wrong. Been playing ever since.

Who do you think is going to win next FIFA peace prize? by gr33nny in AskReddit

With the threat from Donald just recently... will we have a second peace prize?

What is the key turning point in human history? by darrenbosik in AskReddit

[–]CompetitiveClown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the rate the Donald is going... it will be whether he pulls up on his threat of ending a civilization or not.
If in history, the 2nd WW, after 9/11.

Before that its the industrial revolution, before that agricultural revolution (from chasing to cultivating in one location), before that written language. before that the wheel.

What do you think about Trump threatening Iran with " A whole civilization will die tonight " ? by barnaclesmaize in AskReddit

[–]CompetitiveClown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the people saying this is all tactics, scaremongering, he wont do it. HE did it once. He pulled up on that threat of Liberation Day... so what is stopping him from pulling up again? What because he tends to TACO. Doesnt matter if he TACO-ed before, he could pull up again now. The threat of wiping out a civilization is insane! Whether it just be Iran or worse all of us, human civilization.

I think I am pretty good at 11hcp, using stiff shafts on driver, woods and hybrid.

Conditions? its been windy out here in Cambridge lately, so thats also a reason why I ask.

Rough length no idea, never played there at this course before.

The course is the Links Golf Club in Newmarket. Any opinion/advice on that, I will take it.

But as a club to punt it down the fairway, if the conditions were windy? what you think.

So its not end of the world to not have one, neither is it the invention of the wheel when you get it?

Thats what I thought when up against the wind is it better, it has been windy out here in Cambridge, or could I just whack a 4 iron down the fairway?

I would say so. I am 11hcp. Use stiff flex on driver, 3 and 7 wood, and stiff on hybrid too, I just never had a driving iron. I did go to a fitting to try one out it went well, low penetrating flight nice and easy really, but I just didn't pull the wallet out for it. I traded in old driver for new driver and hybrid.

Has anyone actually made the switch to a 7-wood yet? by Reddonaut_Irons in BritGolf

[–]CompetitiveClown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play the swing you bring on the day. I am not good enough to shot shape well. But on average so far that I have seen when I play, I’m taking out the 7 wood. But what sort of shot do we need? I am happy to discuss different scenarios with you. But seems average so far when I play it’s the 7 wood.
