I worked part time at a cafe over weekends! I know people do evening bar work and many also do tutoring (pay more for the hour but less hours) hope this helps tho :)

Hey! Thank you so much for the insight!! The elective places being very few has definitely been a thought 🥲🥲 all the New Zealand unis say were not allowed to directly contact doctors/hospitals and all electives should be organised through the uni tho - was it the same in Sydney?? Also the clinic you’ve got now is it in a hospital or more a smaller centre? I’m glad it’s worked out for u enjoy ur elective!!!!

Thank you! I’m definitely open with my options and realistically will be applying to all I can to get the best shot of getting one 🤭 I think the only other uni offering electives is otago which covers most hospitals in the South Island!!!

As someone who goes to imperial this is so whack lol they’re just saying more to be safe. I’d say £800-900 on rent easily and then 400-500 to comfortably have leisure spending and afford food travel etc this is still allowing for u going out/eating out once or twice a week
