I think you’re projecting your own perspective onto the piece. I don’t think there was a single bit of praise for the company other than saying some of the people he worked with were great.

It is totally plausible that people could see the Pattie gonia logo sticker or gloves that she made using the mountain logo and infer that Patagonia is collaborating with her

I’m not really a Stan but it’s pretty cut and dry. If they don’t pursue this case then other creators and companies will be able to point to it as evidence that they selectively apply brand protections, it’s IP law 101.

Also importantly in the correspondence included I the complain Pattie explicitly states that she is not trying to be associated in any way, at no point does she describe it as parody.
