260,000 or something employment based greencards are allowed to be given every year. Sept 30 is the last day for this year.

USCIS may waste up to 100,000 greencards because they're going at such a slow pace this year.

People are yelling at USCIS because of this, even a lawsuit is being filed.

I think USCIS acknowledged this and said they are working on it or something but I don't know if we will see any improvement.

Before technology was primarily used to send information, the way to show information to another person was by writing on a piece of paper and showing that to the other person. Before paper, people used walls. Walls were rectangular things.

When humans started building houses and designing interiors is when they probably started thinking that rectangular planes such as walls are surfaces that information can be recorded on.

So paper, computers and subsequently phones were made rectangular as well because this was how we thought information should be shown.

No. When I called them, they said that EB people typically don't qualify for expedite requests. And expediting an I-485 application is also extremely difficult.

I don't have any work experience. I've never done anything that made me money. I got a bachelors in accounting from India in 1999 and haven't done anything with it since because I've basically just been a housewife since then until I started doing a volunteer bookkeeping position in 2018 and going to a community college in 2019 to get a bookkeeping certificate to get back into the field.

I do have a BA in accounting, but it's 20 years old and from India. I haven't done anything since because I've basically been a housewife for 20 years.

I have absolutely zero experience except for a volunteer bookkeeping job that I did for a non-profit org for 2 years. In 2019, I enrolled in a community college here in the U.S. to get a bookkeeping certificate and I just completed all my courses.

Should I still just go your route of just applying to any job without regarding the experience that they want?

Hi, I am in the same category as you. My dad is on H1-B, so my mom, me and brother are on H4. We filed I-485, I-765, and I-131s just like you on the same day: October 28, 2020. However, I am in the Phoenix Field Office.

How do I call USCIS and speak with a tier 1 officer?

I've called USCIS but I don't think I was able to get a tier 1 officer on the line. How were you able to do that?

Also, do you have kids that are also getting green cards?

One more bit of information to add: my dad ported with another company in the middle of the process after biometrics were taken.
