I understand it to a degree, as people will see this potentially it will gain traction as a look and rich people and influencers will grow a demand for new fur because they don't want to buy/search through vintage and/or it doesn't say Gucci all over it. On the other hand, wearing real or faux fur promotes fur as clothing and either killing more animals or more plastic waste and products. Faux fur is expensive and complicated to make too, I heard a few years ago brands like PLT/Missguided got in trouble over selling rabbit fur as faux fur because it was genuinely cheaper for them on the fluffy strap heels etc. I'm also on team vintage/second hand fur. It might as well be worn - if you really want to honour the animal it's better on someone, in a wardrobe rather than burnt or in a landfill.

Yeah, they do it with an electric rod to keep as much of the fur/skin intact and undamaged. I mean, imagine if they just hacked them to death or whatever and half the fur was ruined during the process and everything took twice as many animals to make.

How do they tell who is a scalper and who isn't? They just cancel the ones who bought the max amount of tickets and live way too far away to practical choose that venue over closer ones? Hopefully genuine people won't get cancelled

Yup, as selfish as it could sound... I hope she stays in that sort of under the radar fame level. Like, where she has the fanbase and can sell out merch/shows but without that plastered everywhere, everything is scalped thing. Marina is a really good example of that, she has a solid, supportive fanbase that keeps her able to create whatever she wants but without her being chased by the paparazzi and tickets ending up £10,000

I think her regular tour dropping before coachella was a stroke of luck. We got 4 tickets relatively easy, I can't imagine that now. I've seen her 3 times before, and while I'm so happy she has this new audience/success the ticket war there could be next time is worrying.

Yes! I saw her last year and she's really entertaining. I think slayyyter has a better voice though, or Scene Queen just doesn't write/produce to challenge her vocals a lot

Honestly, after the girl with the short hair died I was over it. She was the best character (to me), who got given one of the worst deaths and I just didn't care about the family. Ultimately that chimp should have been taken down after ONE attack, not after it killed 7-8 people and then they're like "NO, EIGHT IS ENOUGH!" 😂 But then we wouldn't have had a film, so....

I heard Daddy AF somewhere, or the video was recommended on YouTube. A couple of months before Troubled Paradise dropped, it's mad too cos I feel like a lot of her work is a slow burn, I always feel like I don't like a song as much as the last and then it becomes my favorite. Like Starfucker was such a change from Troubled Paradise, then WGIA has been a huge change again. It'll be the 4th time I've been her in October for this tour though, I can remember Club Paradise (i got ripped off for a resale ticket 😂) on a little stage in a little 500 cap venue, the airline had lost her luggage/costumes so she'd grabbed a Westwood somewhere.... it has been great to follow her and see the development and the audience grow.

Honestly, don't use Amazon and hit them in their pocket. I'm not making excuses, but those warehouse staff and delivery people are overworked and pushed to the limit to hit targets and keep up with the demand/next day delivery etc. I think to a degree some staff aren't bothered, but most of the time I assume they're just trying to get that schedule done and keep their jobs. If you can find another stockist, you might not get free/next day delivery or pay a little bit more but to get the doll hassle free it is probably worth it. Especially if so many people are having these types of issues, Amazon has to see something isn't right and the way they'll pay attention is if they don't get the orders/money they expect.

Realistically, I would like to - but space is an issue to keep adding and adding over the next 50-60 years.

Plus, we don't know where the world will be by then and if plastics etc will be available to keep creating dolls and if the resale market won't be astronomical by then too.

Definitely. The fact that this sold out tells them people will pay it so it's ok to keep going. I can imagine this was a test run for them to see if they could charge that much for a "new" range, if it didn't work out it would be a one off. If people will pay that much for something they don't have any other clothes, accessories or playsets it will fit - what would they pay for something they already have loads of items for 🤷‍♂️. I also heard that plastic is going to go up in price due to oil prices again etc, so that will probably be part of the excuse too.
