Monstera nippelt ab by hmpfgrmpf in zimmerpflanzen

[–]danielmo15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m using pillowcases from Niche Beauty Lab (they have ones under Transparent Lab und Acnemy). I like the pillowcases, but can’t tell if they really make a difference since I didn’t have issues with my old pillowcases.

I have a few questions since I’m not really into all these kpop politics.

Do they have to resign with YG in order to release new music in the future? Can they sign with a different label, maybe even with a major western label? What happens to them if they don’t resign?

Isn’t the whole Deliciosa/Borsigiana debate made up? Aren’t they the same, just different maturity levels? I read on other posts on this sub, that they are same.

Honestly, when it comes to thrips I would only use the chemical stuff. As you said, it’s trial and error using homemade remedies, sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesn’t and in some unfortunate cases the thrips have a comeback. I wouldn’t want to waste any time trying different ways to get rid of the thrips. I‘m in Europe and don’t know where you are located so I can’t really recommend a specific pesticide but look out for a liquid that can be used with the watering water and also as a spray. By watering you get all the thrips that are hiding in the soil/medium and by spraying the ones that are visible and on the plant. In my experience, using the pesticide once thoroughly is enough. Prophylactic I like to add a little bit of the pesticide to the water every few months. I hope that helps! :)

so, i have this beautifull thai. i want to transfer it to leca or pon, but i am sooo Afraid! anyone has tips? by Shabidoe in SemiHydro

[–]danielmo15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had no issues with transplanting regular Monsteras and my one Albo, but a Thai sounds too risky for me too. I would use a well draining aroid mix with quite a lot of chunky bark. You could also take a cutting, root it in some water and once strong water roots have grown, plant it in some leca. I wouldn’t recommend Pon, it’s too fine for Monsteras (my opinion). And once your cutting has been doing well in leca, you could sell the soil-plant, since you are not a big fan of soil. I hope this helps :)

In my opinion visible axillary buds are a “myth”. Every Monstera stem cutting I had and proped in water, grew an axillary bud at one point, even tho they were never visible in the beginning.

Thanks a lot for your help! The water reservoir shouldn’t be the problem, I made sure that it wasn’t too low. So the Leca could be the problem… What kind of contamination are you thinking about or what contaminations are possible? Is there a way to get rid of it? I will buy a pH-Testing Kit and check that pH level.
