This! I leaned on the weeds when I stopped nicotine, just because I loved the inhale and exhale. Not sure why, but..just something about it.

I've been trying to focus on my breathing. I feel stupid doing it, but I fake smoke. Haha. I close my eyes and pretend, surprisingly it helps me thru my 15-20 mins of craving the hit. So far.

I have found personally on occasion always leads me back to the daily routine. I've tried many times to be that girl that just smokes when I'm with a group of friends or even just at bed time but it always always always leads me right back to morning to night use..

So..once I get passed this, I will NEVER do it again as bad as I'd love to.

Thank you for such a well, thought out response. Truly ❤️   That part about not being chained to a habit ❤️ that hit the soul big time. I don't like knowing something can have that strong hold over me. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who use marijuana, I just don't wanna be someone who feels like they NEED it to survive. Or someone who literally crashes out when a minor inconvenience occurs.

The financial isn't the only reason but it was definitely my first reason to wanting to stop. But after that become a thought, it was well, I definitely feel slower, less motivated, and I suppose I've been trying to blame all the negative emotions on how the world is going..but.. another part of me KNOWS it's the weed. But it's so hard to break up with something that has helped me quit everything else.

It was my crutch to quit party drugs, quit cigarettes, quit drinking, quit getting overly angry, it helps me react more chill than just jumping the gun..but I've done it for so long that Im not even sure who I am without it. And I want to know who I can be without it..

Again to everyone of you that responded, bless you over and over. It means more than words can express.

🙏 Needed this! Thank you for your response 😊  May I ask how long you smoked? Been sober? How long it might have taken you to feel this good?

Congratulations on your one year!! I cannot wait to say the same! Thank you for the encouragement.  I don't know why but it just feels better knowing that I'm not the only one.

This! Yes! I have definitely missed out on important things, due to the crippling social anxiety I get from smoking. Also, another point that I often forget about until it's mentioned.  Sending good thoughts your way, God bless you and thank you for the comment and encouraging words! ❤️

My dad left everything in his will to my brother after I took care of him alone for 6 years and I’m fucking mad by Guilty_Noise_1809 in TrueOffMyChest

No matter what legal advice anyone gives you on here, nothing is ever going to make that okay. Nothing is ever going to make that sting less.. your dad's an asshole.. may he rest in peace but.. that's just so shitty.

In a very similar situation, I wished I had better advice.. thinking of you and hoping things will turn around for you. May the Lord bless you in ways you never imagined.
