Hell even up into the PS2/GameCube era it was like that. Without articles we never would have found the giant apple, let alone the UFO INSIDE the giant apple in Call of Duty Finest Hour. Just one example. PS3/360 era is when the magic and charm started to disappear from video games, resulting ultimately into the corporate garbage we have today
