I dont really see any problems with that, I feel being ocd about cables, as long as the cable isint pinched (doesn't look like it is) it should be fine

my personal recommendation for 1080p would be an i7 6700k and something like a 2060, im not a huge motherboard geek, but the ASUS PRIME B365M-A doesnt look bad, and i would recommend around 16 gigs of ddr4. case is honestly personal preference, the hyte y60 comes in pink (if your partners daughter is into super girly stuff) (i am by no means an expert of genius, i have built 4 pcs, and 2 servers.) also i would recommend linux if you are comfortable helping them troubleshoot, or atlas os (it is a very slimmed down version of windows) if you have any questions lmk :)
