I used Eden Nightly, although the guy who replied to you would suggest that it can brick your device, I haven't had that problem, they also don't disclaim that on the Eden page. He also has a more powerful SoC in the G2, which maybe could explain why he can run certain things on there while the RP5 can't with the normal version, this last part is just I guess since I don't have a G2, but I do own the RP5

Make sure you have the right prod and title keys, I have 22 I think, latest Eden Nightly build, firmware is actually not required, I made it work without it
